Data Analyst
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Data Analyst to join our team. This role requires an individual with strong technical skills, an analytical mindset, and a passion for uncovering trends and insights through data. The ideal candidate should be adept at using Power BI, Power Automate, advanced Excel, and Python, with an ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, organize, and analyze large data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform business decisions.
Develop and maintain advanced reporting dashboards using Power BI to visually represent data trends, KPIs, and metrics.
Automate data processing tasks and workflows using Power Automate, improving efficiency and data accessibility.
Conduct in-depth analysis using Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros) and Python to derive insights.
Use logical thinking and a data-driven approach to present complex data in an understandable and compelling way to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver relevant and timely insights.
Prepare and present clear, concise, and actionable reports to stakeholders, telling the story behind the data.
Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
Strong proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation.
Advanced knowledge of Excel (macros, pivot tables, complex formulas) for data processing and analysis.
Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation.
Solid understanding of Python for data analysis (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
Excellent logical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear, compelling way to non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of data storytelling principles and data presentation techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with SQL and database management.
Experience with machine learning or statistical analysis is a plus.
