Job summary: You will manage cross-functional teams working on cutting edge Omnichannel commercialization engagements with the leading pharma companies across the globe. You will lead the development of innovative analytical solutions to address specific business needs and optimize commercial strategies across various stages of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle.
Key responsibilities:
Project Delivery
- Lead the delivery of solutions in commercial analytics areas like segmentation, targeting, market mix modelling, promotion response, digital analytics, etc.
- Present findings and recommendations to client stakeholders in a compelling and understandable manner, leveraging storytelling and data visualization techniques.
Client Relationship
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within pharmaceutical client organizations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client interactions on commercial analytics topics, understand their business objectives, and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
Team Leadership and Project Management
- Lead a team of analysts and consultants, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to drive high performance and professional development.
- Oversee the execution of analytical projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with project expectations, timelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts within the team and across teams to address complex challenges effectively.
Business Development and Growth:
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the development of proposals, presentations, and pitches to win new engagements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define the strategic direction of the commercial analytics practice and drive initiatives for revenue growth and market expansion.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the value proposition offered to clients.
Job Specifications:
Experience/Education
- 8+ years of strong consulting experience in commercial analytics with at least 6 years in pharma/life sciences domain
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related disciplines. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) preferred.
- Rich experience of having delivered consulting projects to pharma clients preferably in the US market, with proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and developing impactful analytics solutions to drive business outcomes.

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of analysts and consultants.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation, problem-solving, and driving continuous improvement in analytics methodologies and practices.
- Expertise on tools such as MS Excel, R, SQL, Python, Tableau, and PowerBI/Tableau
- Familiarity/expertise in pharmaceutical data sets, such as prescriber-plan data, patient-level data, transactional claims, Rx data, EMR/EHR data, diagnostic data, etc.
Location: This position will be in India and may involve international business travels
