Role Overview: At Indegene, Generative AI is being integrated into global pharma operations at scale to deliver measurable business outcomes. The AI Project Orchestrator role is designed for professionals who excel at the intersection of strategy, solutioning, and execution. This position requires the ability to bring structure to ambiguous business challenges, translate complex pharma needs into scalable AI-enabled solutions, and drive successful adoption of Generative AI initiatives across global pharmaceutical organizations.

 

The role demands a strong foundation in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly within commercial operations and marketing functions. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to design, manage, and scale high-impact GenAI transformation programs while contributing to innovation and go-to-market strategies.

Must Have

Responsibilities:
Lead program management of GenAI-led initiatives across global pharma clients, ensuring strategic alignment and measurable business outcomes.
Drive solutioning activities for RFPs, Point of View (PoV) engagements, and client opportunities by transforming unstructured business problems into structured AI-enabled solutions.
Partner with senior stakeholders to accelerate Generative AI adoption and maximize business impact.
Collaborate with solutioning, delivery, enablement, and product teams to align capabilities with client and business requirements.
Contribute to innovation roadmaps and go-to-market strategies that support the scaling of the GenAI practice.
Design and develop scalable AI solutions that address complex pharmaceutical business challenges.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of transformation programs in dynamic and evolving environments.
Manage strategic initiatives in ambiguous problem spaces where established playbooks may not exist.
Simplify complex concepts and communicate solution value effectively to stakeholders and clients.

 

Desired Profile:
MBA from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 college in General Management, Marketing, Strategy, or a related field.
5–7 years of experience in strategic consulting, program management, or solution development.
Strong background in Pharma or Life Sciences.
In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations and marketing functions.
Demonstrated commercial acumen with the ability to connect business objectives to solution design.
Experience working on GenAI, AI-enabled, or digital transformation initiatives.
Strong problem-solving capability with the ability to create structure in ambiguous environments.
Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Genuine curiosity about Generative AI and the ability to learn and adapt in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable AI solutions.
