Location: New Hope (Hybrid)

 

Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join their team. The AP Specialist will be responsible for supporting the full accounts payable function, including maintaining and updating the AP tracking log in Excel, processing a daily volume of approximately 15 or more invoices, and ensuring the timely and accurate handling of all payable transactions.
Additional responsibilities include routing incoming finance-related communications to the centralized finance team inbox and conducting follow-ups with internal stakeholders to resolve outstanding items or discrepancies.
 
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational capabilities, the ability to operate effectively within a process-driven environment, and clear, professional communication skills when collaborating with cross-functional team members. Attention to detail, dependability, and adherence to established procedures are critical to success in this role.

 

Required Qualifications:
•    Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to execute tasks efficiently and follow established procedures and directions.
•    Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant Accounts Payable experience.
•    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including strong knowledge of commonly used formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and other lookup and calculation functions).
•    Experience working with accounting software; familiarity with NetSuite is preferred.
•    Strong working knowledge and understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.

Good to have

Development of client deliverables, including:
1. Lead the development of client deliverables, alongside Consulting colleagues
2. Create detailed reports of both qualitative and quantitative findings/insights
3. Communicate these findings via simple, concise, visually appealing presentations
(PowerPoint decks, Dashboards, etc)
4. Presentation of results to internal & external stakeholders
5. Continual evaluation of improvement opportunities and best practices.
Experience and desired skills
You will be Business & Data oriented and be excited about the opportunities that Data can
enable and create. Data Analysis & Insights, particularly within a Customer Experience or Digital
environment will be something of genuine interest – if you have the passion, then we will
provide you with the tools to fulfil this.
You will ideally have:
• A Masters or Bachelors degree in a relevant subject
• A Consulting industry background, preferably with Pharma & Life Sciences exposure
• Ideally a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, involving data analysis,
management and/or applied research
• Experience leading small teams, in a client facing environment
• The interest and ability to manipulate and analyse large, complex data sets using a
variety of software applications, primarily Advanced Excel (Formulae, Pivot tables,
Macros) but also R, Python & SQL
• Attention to detail, accurate and methodical
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Must be a team player, collaborating with colleagues
• Aware of and representing the values of DT
• Knowledge and experience of CX, UX or tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik
• Experience of Survey tools would be beneficial
