Must Have

We are looking for an Associate Manager to join our team! As an Associate Manager at our company, you will be responsible for leading and directing all graphic and website design, copy, video, animation, infographic, social media material, photography and promotional assets. You will also provide the team of designers with guidance in developing creative assets. You will be able to implement your creative vision and become the point of reference for any creative plan that is presented to the client. The goal is to achieve the best possible outcome of creative assets both visually and essentially to meet customer expectations and drive our sustainable growth.

Responsibilities/expectations for this role
•    Collaborate with brand teams to obtain knowledge of their requirements
•    Direct and motivate teams of designers to help them use their talents effectively
•    Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas
•    Revise content and presentations, approve/reject ideas, provide feedback to the team
•    Monitor results of team efforts and propose actions for the future
•    Mentor and encourage creative team members to foster a positive work environment
•    Shoulder the responsibility of the quality and completion of all work projects assigned to members of the creative team
•    Report progress of projects at major stages of their conception, creation, and execution
•    Ensure designs and content reflect consistently and positively the brand image and company ideals
•    Serve as a liaison between the marketing and creative team 
•    Adhere to defined brand guidelines

Qualifications for Associate Manager - Creative

•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Excellent working knowledge of software such as Adobe CC, Figma etc.
•    Good comfort level interacting with high-profile clients and industry professionals
•    Evidence of participation in ongoing professional development opportunities in the areas of graphic design or social media
•    Professional business skills, such as negotiation, project management, and leadership
•    Web design experience an advantage, especially using design systems, HTML5 and WordPress knowledge is an add on
•    Talent in presenting information concisely, engagingly and accurately, with a keen attention to detail
•    Proven experience as a manager or in a similar creative role
•    Hand-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development
•    Outstanding leadership and organization skills
•    Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities
•    BSc/BA in advertising, fine art, design or relevant field; MSc/MA will be considered an asset
•    10-12+ years experience in design and project management
•    Ability to deliver constructive feedback on projects to the creative team
•    Good time-management skills
•    Ability to multi-task
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•    Critical-thinker and problem-solver
