Art Direction Lead
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the creative team to develop design concepts and solutions for a variety of projects including print collateral, digital campaigns, social media content, and branding materials.
Create compelling visual designs that are aligned with our brand identity, and that communicate our message effectively to our target audience.
Lead the creation of visual concepts and art direction for projects.
Collaborate with creative teams to develop original ideas and ensure a consistent visual style.
Supervise and mentor a team of designers, illustrators, and other creatives.
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members to enhance their work quality.
Oversee the visual aspects of projects from conception to completion.
Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all design projects, maintaining a deep understanding of the brand identity and guidelines.
Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to bring fresh ideas and creative solutions to the team.
Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, production, and development teams, to ensure cohesive visual storytelling.
Conduct design critiques, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and workflows.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their vision and requirements.
Conduct regular reviews and quality checks to ensure the highest standards of visual output.
Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
8+ years of proven experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design projects.
Extensive expertise in relevant tools.
Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
Demonstrated experience in leading design projects, providing creative direction, and mentoring other designers.
Excellent conceptualization and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into visually compelling designs.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and the ability to deliver pixel-perfect designs."
