Associate Manager- Commercial Analytics
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Associate Manager to lead cross-functional teams in delivering cutting-edge omnichannel commercialization solutions for leading global pharmaceutical clients. This role involves developing innovative analytics strategies to optimize commercial performance across the product lifecycle. You will manage client relationships, guide project execution, and mentor a team of analysts while contributing to business growth and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
• Lead analytics engagements in areas such as segmentation, targeting, market mix modeling, promotion response, and digital analytics.
• Monitor brand forecasts, proactively identify deviations, and drive strategic forecasting discussions.
• Present insights and recommendations using compelling storytelling and data visualization.
Client Relationship Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on commercial analytics topics.
• Understand client objectives and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Project Management
• Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering professional growth and high performance.
• Oversee project execution from initiation to delivery, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to solve complex business challenges.
Business Development & Strategic Growth
• Identify new business opportunities and support proposal development and client pitches.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape the strategic direction of the analytics practice.
• Stay current with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science).
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.
• Candidates with degrees in pharma domains and analytics experience are equally considered.
Experience
• 8+ years in commercial analytics, with 5+ years in pharma/life sciences consulting.
• Proven track record of delivering impactful analytics solutions and managing client relationships.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, R, SQL, Python, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical datasets (e.g., prescriber-plan, patient-level, claims, Rx, EMR/EHR, diagnostics).
• Hands-on experience in pharma forecasting, including inline forecasting, scenario modeling, and trend analysis.
