Role: Associate Technical Project Manager – GenAI Architect & Program Lead

 

Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager with deep architectural expertise in Generative AI applications and proven program management capabilities. This role will lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge GenAI solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technology standards, and delivery timelines.The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between AI/ML engineering, enterprise architecture, business stakeholders, and cross-functional development teams, playing a pivotal role in both the technical architecture and program execution of GenAI initiatives.


Responsibilities:
•    Lead the end-to-end architecture design for GenAI applications (LLMs, multimodal models, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, etc.).
•    Evaluate and integrate cloud-native AI platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI).
•    Design scalable, secure, and performant AI systems and APIs.
•    Collaborate with data scientists, MLOps, and software engineers to productionize AI models.
•    Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and security/compliance requirements.
•    Lead the selection of appropriate GenAI models (open-source vs. proprietary), tools, and frameworks.
•    Lead large-scale GenAI programs, from concept to deployment and adoption.
•    Define roadmaps, milestones, and deliverables for AI initiatives.
•    Establish and manage cross-functional teams (engineering, product, design, data, legal).
•    Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
•    Drive agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives) and ensure DevOps best practices.
•    Provide executive-level reporting, dashboards, and status updates.
•    Manage vendor relationships and 3rd-party solution integrations, as needed.

Must Have

•    7–12 years of experience in technical project or program management in software/AI domains.
•    3–5 years of hands-on experience with AI/ML systems, with at least 1–2 years focused on Generative AI (LLMs, transformers, diffusion models, etc.).
•    Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade AI applications or platforms.
•    Strong understanding of Generative AI tools, architectures, and technologies.
•    Experience with cloud-based AI services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
•    Familiarity with Python, ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), and AI lifecycle tools (LangChain, Weights & Biases, MLflow, etc.).
•    Solid grasp of software architecture principles (microservices, APIs, CI/CD).
•    Agile/Scrum, SAFe or similar methodology experience.
•    Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
•    Ability to translate complex AI concepts into business-friendly language.
•    Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
•    PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certifications (preferred).
•    Relevant GenAI or cloud certifications (e.g., Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning).
•    Experience with responsible AI frameworks and ethical AI design.
•    Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS), or LLM fine-tuning.
•    Open-source contribution or publications in AI/ML.
