Role: Data Architect
Job Description:
• Lead technical teams to architect, build out and deploy a cloud solution to support enterprise clients
• Architecting cloud applications design using Azure and AWS services provided by cloud platforms
• Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models and evaluating existing data systems
• Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows
• Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility, implementing data strategies and developing physical data models
• Continually augment learning building POC, identify data sources and data requirements
• Build data flows for ingestion from source to reporting layers, define enterprise designs/architectural frameworks,
• Provides leadership & hands on contribution in areas like Data Access, Data Integration, Data Visualization, Data Modelling, Data Quality and Metadata management
Must Have
• 8-12 years of experience in consulting or IT experience supporting Enterprise Data Warehouses & Business Intelligence solutions on cloud
• Proficiency in Python Programming language
• Experience with AWS Managed Services (ECS, EC2, S3). Knowledge in other cloud platforms such as Azure, Google is also considered. However, AWS is preferable
• Agile development practices
• Deep understanding of VPC, subnets, routing tables, NAT gateways and VPNs
• Expertise in AWS Lambda for event-driven architectures
• Knowledge of API Gateway for building RESTful APIs
• Experience with AppFlow, DMS, Step Functions for orchestrating workflows
• Proficiency in AWS ECS and EKS for container management
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm charts for large-scale container orchestration
• Expertise in AWS Athena, Glue and EMR for big data processing
• Experience with QuickSight for data visualization
• Integration of Generative AI models, Snowflake, Foundry and 3rd party AWS
• Proficiency in SageMaker for building and deploying machine learning models
Education: Any Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineer or Computer Application
