Quality Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Upon receipt of the task mail in the inbox, should enter the details in their respective individual production tracker
• Execution should start through the Mysheet workflow
• Should notify the Team lead if there are more pages well in advance so that the jobs can be shared to meet the timelines
• Should check Task template and release note emails related to that project
• The script file and the output file should be downloaded from the respective SVN links
• Performs proofreading character to character of final output file against script file and finalises the contents
• Check that all the necessary elements and icons on the file (Graphics, logos, color etc) are placed as per the script
• Fill the checklist by cross-checking against the file and copy the same to the SVN server
• In case of any errors, a consolidated bug report must be created via iExtract tool/Redmine and the same has to be shared with the creative team for further amends
• Acknowledge signoff mail to the concerned PM, if no changes are required
• The SVN link needs to be updated to review the amendments (IFF) comments
• The task needs to be closed which is routed through Mysheet/Jira etc.
• Scope of proofreading includes all the languages
• Complete the random check sampling jobs as per the given timelines
• Should act as a backup/Supervisor when team members are on leave
• Check and ensure the job has been delivered, as per the client TAT
Key Responsibilities:

Strong language proficiency: Understanding and correcting complex sentence structures and vocabulary.

Familiarity with style guides and formatting standards: Ensuring the document adheres to specific guidelines, whether for academic, professional, or creative writing.

Technical proficiency with proofreading tools and software: Enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
Accuracy in Language:
o Correct use of Kanji, Hiragana, and Katakana.
o Ensuring grammatical and syntactical accuracy.
o Proper punctuation.
Consistency:
o Consistent terminology.
o Adherence to style guides.
o Uniform formatting.
Cultural Sensitivity:
o Recognizing idiomatic expressions.
o Using appropriate politeness levels.

Communication:
• In case of any queries, check with the Team lead/Seniors/Mentor or Buddy and if needed send clarification mail to the creative team copying in the relevant leads
• Send the signoff emails immediately after the task completion to the creative team by copying all as in the trail task mail
