Job Summary: 
A Solution Architect is responsible for architecting/designing, coding, and testing the proposed solution based on project and business requirement, as well as reviewing and ensuring delivery on time. His or her role also involves translating non-functional and functional requirements into design in support of the overall application design. The Solution Architect also needs to plan the closure of the solutions and see through the implementation of the solutions.

Job Description:

The roles and responsibilities of the Solution Architect include the following:
•    Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives
•    Providing technical guidance and presales support (eg. estimation, solution, and client pitch)
•    Participating and executing R&D initiations
•    Writing or directing the development of white papers in solution area
•    Working very closely with the development team and participating in planning, estimating, scheduling, retrospectives, and any other team activities
•    Adhering to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies

Desired Skills:

•    Minimum 10-12 years of industry experience
•    In-depth knowledge and experience in various trending technologies, including .NET Framework 3.5 and above, VB.Net, ASP.NET, C#, VB6, SQL Server, HTML, XML, Java Scripting, JSON, jQuery, WCF, WPF, ASP.NET MVC, Web Services, Entity Framework, and LINQ
•    In-depth knowledge and experience in Core Java, J2EE, Servlets, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, workflow management systems, testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito), HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, DOM manipulation SQL (MySQL and MS SQL Server), and Oracle
•    Knowledge of all phases of the SDLC
•    Excellent knowledge of the tools, techniques, and software, and ability to apply them in developing programs as required
•    Experience in software architecture and architecture “best practices”
•    Demonstrated skills in building service-based architectures
•    Experience of working directly with clients
•    Should be a self-starter and capable of operating on minimal management oversight
•    Ability to work under pressure to meet agreed deadlines
•    Passion, energy, and enthusiasm to drive results
