1. Proofread and copyedit deliverables (complex documents)
Apply the checklist for each deliverable and check for consistency between the base file and the final output as per the business unit requirement Review and edit content for language, spelling, grammar, word choice and formatting to ensure readability and consistency by applying various client style guides such as AMA and Vancouver.
Review content for writing quality, client-appropriate style and scientific linguistic accuracy as per client expectations for all deliverables by rewriting and repurposing scientific content Use various media of medical communication while considering sensitivities in storytelling and target audience
Assist in asset development for internal training and knowledge documentation
Proficient with different styles of writing (active and passive voices, marketing/scientific content etc.) Execute standardisation of various processes for proofreading and editing Coordinate with other stakeholders of the project to meet the scheduled timelines for quality deliverables and flag issues to the leads
2: Review work done by copy editor/junior associates Review the deliverables of copy editor/junior associates and provide feedback Guide copy editors/junior associates on client requirements and quality aspects of copyediting different deliverables and develop guidelines accordingly
3: Process adherence and compliance Be aware of all organisational, divisional and client-related policies and procedures related to quality, information security and data privacy Responsible to strictly adhere to quality standards for various deliverables as decided by the business unit or client Responsible to maintain confidentiality and copyright rules for various deliverables/clients and company norms Follow all the security rules with regard to various standards like ISMS, ISO, CMMI and client guidelines
