Role: Lead/Senior Analyst – Pharmaceutical Commercial Analytics


Description: We are seeking experienced analytics professional with 4+ years in the Life Sciences domain to join our team as a Lead/Senior Analyst. This role focuses on delivering data-driven insights across pharmaceutical commercial analytics projects that influence strategic decisions and improve healthcare access.


Key Responsibilities
•    Market & Sales Data Analysis: Leverage IQVIA and Symphony datasets to extract, interpret, and visualize market and sales data that inform commercial strategy.
•    Brand Performance & Forecasting Support:  Develop monthly/quarterly market overviews and performance dashboards to support brand planning and forecasting.
•    Launch Tracker Development:  Build and maintain trackers to monitor product launch milestones, market uptake, and competitive activity.
•    Tender Analysis & Pricing Strategy:  Evaluate government and institutional tenders; create pricing models and governance frameworks to assess opportunities.
•    Excel Automation & Reporting Tools:  Design automated dashboards and tools using Excel/VBA, pivot tables, and macros to streamline reporting and reduce manual effort.
•    Stakeholder Collaboration:  Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, timely communication, and issue resolution.
•    Mentorship & Capability Building:  Support junior team members and contribute to team development through knowledge sharing and process innovation.
•    Insightful Communication:  Present findings through clear, compelling storytelling tailored to diverse audiences.

Must Have

Education
•    BE/B.Tech/M.Tech (MBA preferred but not mandatory)

 

Experience
•    Minimum 3 years in pharmaceutical commercial analytics

 

Technical Skills
•    Proficiency in Excel/VBA, SQL, Python/R, Power BI, Qlik
•    Experience with statistical/data science packages is a plus
•    Familiarity with pharma analytics platforms and tools

 

Domain Expertise
•    Strong understanding of pharma concepts including drug development, generics, biosimilars, biologics, and regulatory pathways
•    Hands-on experience with commercial datasets like IQVIA and Symphony
•    Exposure to customer segmentation, brand analytics, and digital campaign performance

 

Soft Skills
•    Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
•    Self-starter with a growth mindset
•    Ability to work independently and lead small team
