Role: Senior Associate - Campaign Management

 

Job Description: We are looking for a Paid Social Media Marketing Specialist (Social, Programmatic, Pharma Endemic platforms and SEM) - with proven experience in the pharma & life-sciences industry who has an entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on experience to define, develop and manage successful execution of paid marketing strategies & campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, Search Engine Marketing, Google Analytics, etc.

Spearheading Paid Social Campaigns 
•    Develop, design, and execute comprehensive end-to-end social media and digital marketing strategies aligned with pharma/ life sciences brand objectives and their meticulous regulatory requirements. 
•    Partner with brand and strategy teams to convert brand plans into targeted digital campaigns focused on social media channels and online engagement, adhering to industry-specific compliance standards. Identify and segment key patient, healthcare professional, and stakeholder demographics to optimize campaign targeting and effectiveness. 
•    Manage the execution of social media projects, including page creation & management, organic social media campaigns, audience engagement, comment moderation, social listening, content strategies, campaign measurement setup, paid campaign execution, CRM integration, while being aware & compliant with pharma regulations. 
•    Employ best practices for campaign structuring, including advanced bidding strategies, negative keyword management, dayparting, geo-targeting, and audience affinity for patients, pharma and healthcare professionals. 
•    Develop and manage testing protocols such as A/B testing of copy, landing pages, bid models, and beta campaigns. Oversee budget management & pacing, while adjusting campaigns regularly to align with evolving dynamics of the market and brand context.

Must Have

Social Handle Management:  
•    Create newly or manage existing social media profiles across platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, BlueSky, etc) for branded and non-branded initiatives. 
•    Use DAM platforms (Digital asset mgmt.) such as Veeva Vault Promomats to access, review & use media assets provided by clients.  
•    Ensure the usage of only MLR approved content. Keep track of MLR & expiry - Medical/Legal/Regulatory reviews for all campaign materials and ensure ongoing compliance with pharma industry regulations and platform advertising policies. 


Social Listening:  
•    Monitor and analyze online conversations and trends related to pharmaceutical products and healthcare topics. Extract actionable insights to support marketing and brand reputation strategies.
 
Managing HCP targeting/ Endemic platforms:  
•    Experienced in e-consent collection campaigns to build GDPR compliant audience pool as per the campaign geography and objective.  
•    Follow an omni-channel approach to HCP engagement strategy by collaborating with industry data providers to reinforce the data-driven decision-making & define actionable insights. Be experienced to employ endemic channels such as Doximity, Practo, IQVIA Lasso, etc.  
 

Exposure to Search Engine Marketing: 
•    Lead end-to-end usage of search engine marketing platforms - Google Ads, GA4, Microsoft (Bing) Ads, YouTube Ads- ensuring adherence to pharma advertising policies and keyword quality standards. 
•    Perform keyword research, audience forecasting, and traffic analysis using keyword planners, search engines analytics and third-party tools relevant to the pharma sector. 
 
Analytics & Campaign Reporting:  
•    Define, co-develop, and implement paid campaign measurement frameworks aimed towards delivering accurate, transparent reporting on campaign performance at weekly, monthly, and quarterly intervals.  
•    Perform KPI Benchmarking of Campaign performance indicators, Organic Engagement metrics and Operational metrics for reporting. Use data & insights to ensure that digital KPIs are translated into broader business KPIs. Utilize advanced social listening and analytics tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Talkwalker, SEMRush, AdClarity, Pathmatics, GWI, etc) to analyze campaign performance, sentiment, benchmarking and insight collection. 

 

Desired Profile:
•    Experience working in digital marketing agencies, servicing pharma clients, OR having worked in a pharma/life-sciences organization is a must. Knowledgeable on pharma product lifecycle from trial phase to expiration/ end of market exclusivity. 
•    Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns on social media & search platforms. 
•    Proficient in managing branded and non-branded social media handles for pharma clients end-to-end, involving – uploading posts, comment moderation, admin rights setup, pharma compliance adherence, etc 
•    Expertise in regular reporting to client on paid campaign KPIs, organic page performance and website audit. 
•    Demonstrated ability to perform in-depth campaign analysis with strong analytical and data interpretation skills to optimize digital marketing outcomes using analytics tools (eg- GA4), social listening (eg- Sprinklr/Talkwalker) & performance dashboards (eg- Looker Studio/ Adobe MC/ API integrations).
