Role: Senior UX Designer
Description:
Key Responsibilities
1. Design Optimization: Address user and business needs while balancing technical constraints and ensuring optimal user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.
2. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external CX/UX/UI teams to maintain consistency across products and service lines.
3. Design Leadership: Lead ideation sessions, set clear agendas, and provide actionable design execution plans and frameworks.
4. UX/UI Strategy Execution: Develop and present vision and execution maps derived from stakeholder input and user research.
5. High-Fidelity Design Delivery: Produce development-ready UX/UI deliverables with detailed hand-off documentation for engineering teams.
6. Research & Testing: Conduct think-aloud sessions, usability evaluations, and iterate designs based on data-driven insights.
7. Design System Management: Ensure consistency in UI and UX across digital products through the maintenance and evolution of design systems.
8. Documentation & Communication: Actively use tools like Jira and Aha to maintain structured documentation; participate in regular design huddles.
9. Risk Identification: Foresee and communicate UX/UI-related risks or trade-offs within the product development lifecycle (SDLC).
10. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with UX/UI trends, contribute to team learning goals, and adapt based on project needs and feedback.
Must Have
1. Proven Portfolio: A portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end UX/UI projects resulting in tangible business impact.
2. User-Centered Design Expertise: Strong grasp of UCD principles and their practical application across form factors and platforms.
3. Strong Visual & Interactive Design Skills: Proficiency in creating compelling interfaces with attention to interaction and usability.
4. System Thinking: Ability to build and manage scalable, accessible, and brand-consistent design systems.
5. Experience with Design Metrics: Familiarity with measuring and improving UX and UI through user data and journey evaluations.
6. Collaboration-Driven: History of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
7. Agile Process Knowledge: Comfortable working in Agile/SDLC environments with timely updates and iterative design delivery.
8. Excellent Communicator: Strong storytelling, written, and verbal skills to convey design rationales and present concepts clearly.
9. Creative & Analytical: Ability to ideate creatively while making data-informed design decisions.
10. Adaptable & Growth-Oriented: Willing to learn, iterate through failure, and evolve continuously in both UX and UI domains.
