Must Have

Role – Copyeditor

The roles and responsibilities includes the following:

· Perform quality check (QC) and proofread promotional assets

· Review assets as part of the PRC Approval Process, which includes

o QCing the assets for sense, spelling, grammar, punctuation, consistency, formatting, and style

o Ensuring that the assets adhere to the AMA Manual of style and client brand guidelines

· Conduct check changes review or proofing of final uploads, which includes

o Ensuring all comments made by different stakeholders on the review copy (MLR-approved version) are implemented in the final compliance copy

o Performing line-by-line check to ensure no additional text has been inadvertently added or deleted by the agency

· Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to

o Reviewing the document number (job code) and end matter in the asset and ensuring they are free of discrepancies

o Performing ISI proofreading to ensure the ISI in the asset matches the latest approved ISI


Desired Skills and Experience:

· Education—any graduate

· Experience—2-4 years of relevant experience

· Good subject area knowledge and the curiosity to delve deeper into existing and upcoming medical and scientific concepts

· Excellent command of English, including grammar and spelling

· Ability to operate comfortably in a multitask/multi-priority environment

· Should be a self-starter and capable of operating on minimal management oversight

· Ability to work under pressure to meet agreed deadlines

· Passion, energy, and enthusiasm to drive results

· Liaison with analysts and SMEs on editorial value additions
