Must Have

As an editor you will be responsible to:
•    Copyedit marketing and educational materials in accordance with AMA style, brand style guides, and SOPs
•    Correct errors in spelling, punctuation, trademark, ISI, part number and date, end matter, and formatting, consolidating annotations
•    Create and manage Editorial style guide 
•    Attend PRC meetings as necessary and take editorially appropriate notes for review strategy/priorities
•    Coordinate with team members and client stakeholders to manage work, prioritize/re-prioritize tasks, plan support for spikes for special events, leave coverage, etc.
At QC/subsequent stages
•    Ensure implementation of changes 
•    Ensure that no additional change/error was introduced by originator/agency while addressing reviewer comments
•    Check for errors in ISI, part number and date, and end matter
•    Ensure that no editorial comment is provided at this stage while routing any glaring error(s) to the PRC specialists
Also, for print material, would be responsible to:
•    Confirm that the piece is “Approved for Distribution” or “Approved Pending Submission”
•    Ensure that the layout matches the approved version
•    Confirm that all changes are carried through
•    Coordinate with relevant stakeholder(s) on the status of the piece
•    Proofread to ensure compliance with Veeva approved copy

About your role:
•    As part of this process, you will be reviewer/approver of material in general and you will be responsible for the hygiene and integrity of the material and are responsible to approve material before it is taken for submission to FDA and/or public use.

Must have:
•    Great attention to detail
•    Bachelor's degree in life sciences or at least 2 years’ experience working with Pharma/medical material for understanding of Pharma and medical lingo
•    Experience working with the Veeva Vault Promomats document management system
•    Experience working with Pharmaceutical Marketing material
•    Understand significance of ISI and PI and data accuracy in Pharma marketing material
•    Experience and understanding of PRC/MLR process and the role of various reviewers and approvers
•    Experience working with Pharmaceutical Marketing material
•    Understand significance of ISI and PI and data accuracy in Pharma marketing material
•    Experience working with the Veeva Vault Promomats document management system
•    Experience and understanding of PRC/MLR process and the role of various reviewers and approvers

Base Salary Range: $52,521 - $84,034

The compensation range displayed reflects the full span of pay across all of our U.S. geographic pay areas and experience levels. Your actual base salary offer will be determined based on multiple factors, including:

  • Geographic Pay Area (US 1 through US 5, reflecting cost‑of‑labor differences)
  • Experience & Qualifications relevant to the role
  • Internal Equity alignment with employees in similar roles and levels

What This Means for You

  • The minimum of the posted range represents the starting point for candidates in the lowest cost‑of‑labor pay areas (US 5).
  • The maximum of the posted range represents the upper threshold for candidates in the highest cost‑of‑labor pay areas (US 1 / US 2).
  • Candidates are aligned to pay areas based on their primary work location.
