About the Role: 

The Copywriter at Tectonic brings creativity, strategic thinking, and strong storytelling ability to every assignment. In this role, you will craft compelling, well‑researched advertising copy across multiple channels to promote clients’ products and services. You’ll transform complex information into engaging, clear, and accessible messages that resonate with diverse audiences. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Develop original, insightful concepts for client brands using information from research, strategy, and account teams. 

Write clear, persuasive, audience‑focused copy tailored to consumers, patients, payors, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. 

Craft messaging across a variety of media channels, including print, broadcast, web, digital, mobile, video, and email. 

Collaborate closely with art directors and the broader creative team to produce effective, integrated campaigns. 

Participate in regular check‑ins with your manager to provide updates, address challenges, and align on project direction. 

Present ideas in meetings and contribute thoughtfully to internal and client discussions. 

Listen actively and interpret input from client discussions with accuracy and nuance. 

Maintain a high standard for detail, accuracy, grammar, and brand consistency. 

Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines and drive projects forward. 

Partner with cross‑functional roles such as brand planners, account directors, UX associates, medical directors, and editors. 

Begin presenting concepts to clients with support and oversight from your manager. 

Support pitch opportunities by partnering with art directors to develop new ideas. 

Stay flexible and adaptable in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing advertising environment.

Good to have

Other Skillsets: 

1+ years in copywriting direction within agencies, ideally including pharmaceutical brand experience.  

Exceptional written communication and editorial precision. 

Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to generate multiple creative approaches. 

Ability to distill complex or technical information into simple, engaging messaging. 

Comfort working across digital, traditional, and emerging media. 

Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive attitude toward learning and growth.
