We are seeking an experienced Life Sciences Engagement Delivery Manager to drive strategic client engagements and delivery excellence for our US-based life sciences clients. This role serves as the primary interface between clients and internal teams, ensuring successful project execution, strong stakeholder relationships, and business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in client engagement, program management, and leading cross-functional teams within the life sciences industry.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for key life sciences clients, building trusted advisor relationships and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Lead end-to-end engagement and project delivery, ensuring timelines, scope, quality, budgets, and business objectives are successfully achieved.
Manage client expectations through proactive communication, regular status updates, executive presentations, and timely resolution of risks, issues, and escalations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, development, QA, infrastructure, creative, digital, web, and omnichannel teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Facilitate requirement gathering, solution discussions, and translate business needs into actionable project and delivery plans.
Drive project governance, sprint planning, resource allocation, delivery tracking, and adherence to project management methodologies, processes, and compliance standards.
Monitor project financials, including revenue, forecasting, profitability, project risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
Build strong collaboration between onsite client teams and offshore delivery teams to ensure effective execution and alignment with business priorities.
Lead strategic engagement planning, including project scoping, prioritization, and resource planning.
Identify opportunities for account growth through new services, process improvements, upselling, cross-selling, and other value-added initiatives.
Prepare and present project reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates to clients, leadership, and key stakeholders.
Mentor, coach, and develop onsite and offshore teams, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-centric culture.
Partner with global and regional stakeholders to implement best practices, standardize processes, and continuously improve delivery excellence.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's & Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field.
MBA is preferred.
Experience
10–12 years of experience in Client Engagement, Account Management, Program Management, or Project Management within the life sciences industry.
Proven experience managing large-scale client engagements and cross-functional teams.
Experience working with global pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare clients is preferred.
Experience managing onsite-offshore delivery models is highly desirable.
