About the Role
The pharmaceutical Promotional & Medical Review (MLR) ecosystem is undergoing a significant transformation, driven by advances in AI, automation, and modular content workflows. We are seeking a client-facing Engagement Lead who will anchor discussions, drive thought leadership, and lead strategic engagements across the end-to-end MLR lifecycle — with a strong focus on technology-led transformation and AI-driven review automation.

The Role in One Sentence
Lead client-facing engagements in MLR transformation by combining deep domain expertise with a strong understanding of AI-driven review automation technologies, and translate strategic vision into actionable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Thought Leadership
• Lead client discussions, workshops, hackathons, and conferences focused on MLR transformation and AI adoption
• Act as a trusted advisor to pharma stakeholders across Medical, Regulatory, Legal, and Commercial functions
• Drive C-level and senior stakeholder conversations on the future of MLR, including automation, modular content, and AI-enabled workflows
• Represent the organization in industry forums and conferences, building external credibility and brand visibility
MLR Transformation Consulting
• Define and shape end-to-end MLR transformation roadmaps
• Conduct current-state assessments and identify gaps across people, process, and technology
• Design future-state operating models incorporating: pre-MLR automation, risk-based review pathways, modular content reuse, global-to-local adaptation frameworks
• Lead solutioning discussions for clients evaluating MLR technology adoption
Technology & AI Fluency
• Demonstrate strong conceptual and applied understanding of: AI/GenAI in content review workflows, RAG (retrieval-augmented systems) for claims and fact validation, agentic AI architectures for modular review automation, MLR technology stack (content review platforms, document systems, workflow tools)
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-relevant narratives
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to: align solutions with client needs, validate technical feasibility, shape product evolution
Cross-Functional Leadership
• Serve as the bridge between domain SMEs, engineering teams, and client stakeholders
• Facilitate structured collaboration across: MLR reviewers, medical/regulatory SMEs, AI/engineering teams
• Lead solution demos, pilot programs, and proof-of-value initiatives
Go-To-Market (GTM) & Growth Enablement
• Support development of: proposals, pitch decks, and thought leadership content; value propositions for AI-enabled MLR transformation
• Identify new opportunities for technology-led services within existing and new accounts
• Contribute to market positioning of MLR technology offerings
Must Have
Qualifications & Experience
Must-Have — Domain + Consulting
• 6–10 years of experience in: MLR, regulatory review workflows, agency, or pharma content lifecycle
• Strong exposure to: global and local MLR models, promotional review processes, stakeholder engagement across Medical, Legal, Regulatory
• Proven ability to lead client discussions and workshops
Must-Have — Technology Understanding
• Strong conceptual understanding of: AI / GenAI and enterprise use cases, RAG-based systems and knowledge-driven AI, agentic AI and workflow automation, document processing and content intelligence systems
• Ability to engage with engineering teams on: solution architecture, feasibility discussions, implementation trade-offs
Note: This is not a hands-on coding role — but requires deep technical literacy.
Must-Have — Communication & Leadership
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Strong presence in: executive discussions, workshops, client presentations
• Experience leading or participating in client-facing consulting engagements
Good to Have
• Experience with: MLR platforms (e.g., Veeva PromoMats, Aprimo), modular content strategies, AI-driven content or review automation initiatives
• Prior involvement in: AI/GenAI transformation programs, digital transformation consulting
• Experience speaking at industry events / conferences

Compensation & Benefits Transparency Statement
Base Salary Range: $150k - $180k
The compensation range displayed reflects the full span of pay across all of our U.S. geographic pay areas and experience levels. Your actual base salary offer will be determined based on multiple factors, including:
- Geographic Pay Area (US 1 through US 5, reflecting cost‑of‑labor differences)
- Experience & Qualifications relevant to the role
- Internal Equity alignment with employees in similar roles and levels
What This Means for You
- The minimum of the posted range represents the starting point for candidates in the lowest cost‑of‑labor pay areas (US 5).
- The maximum of the posted range represents the upper threshold for candidates in the highest cost‑of‑labor pay areas (US 1 / US 2).
- Candidates are aligned to pay areas based on their primary work location.
