Role – Engagement Manager
Location: Foster City – Hybrid (2-3 days of travel to client office in Foster City, California)
Role Description:
Engagement Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, driving account growth, and coordinating internal teams to deliver successful outcomes. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients and the company, helping us to align business objectives with client needs while identifying opportunities for long-term partnership and revenue expansion.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences organizations and a strong understanding of the regulatory, commercial, and operational dynamics within the healthcare industry. This position requires a client-focused professional who can manage complex stakeholder relationships, drive account growth, and support strategic initiatives across multiple client accounts.
You will be responsible for:
Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts and develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
Understand client goals, challenges, and business priorities. Partner with relevant internal SMEs to drive solutions for identified client goals and challenges.
Ensure seamless project execution across cross-functional teams with SLA adherence.
Ability to lead client meetings, create compelling presentations, and drive regular business review meetings
Monitor client satisfaction and proactively resolve issues.
Coordinate with internal teams including sales, operations, analytics, compliance, and project management to ensure successful execution of client initiatives
Identify upselling, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities.
Stay informed on pharmaceutical industry trends, healthcare regulations, and competitive market developments
About you:
Desired Profile (Experience, Key Skills)
Around 8 - 10 years of experience as an account manager/engagement manager preferably in the pharma or healthcare industry.
Experience in managing digital omnichannel engagement projects in pharma and a strong understanding of web development process.
Experience of working in Project Management tools, familiar in MS office, Excel and Power point.
Experience of working both independently and in a team, collaborative environment is essential.
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations and client service environments
Experience managing enterprise or strategic healthcare/pharma accounts
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills
Ability to adapt to the onshore and offshore model and working teams within client and agency partners.
Ability to translate between technical and non-technical requests and teams.
Minimum graduation.
