Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a seasoned Graphic Designer who brings strong conceptual thinking, high‑quality craft, and the ability to translate complex scientific/medical content into visually engaging communication. This role is suited for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare and life‑sciences environment, understands global branding nuances, and can take full ownership of end‑to‑end creative execution across omnichannel deliverables.
This profile is expected to operate with autonomy, guide junior design teams, and collaborate closely with creative leadership to elevate the standard of design output.
Responsibilities/expectations for this role
Creative Development
• Translate creative briefs into high-impact visual concepts for campaigns targeting HCPs, patients, nurses, and field-force
• Design compelling layouts for digital and print: eDetailers, emailers, websites, landing pages, banners, social media posts, journals, brochures, event collaterals, whitepapers, and more
• Work closely with medical/scientific writers to visually simplify complex scientific and clinical concepts
• Contribute to creative ideation with strategic, visual, and storytelling inputs
Design Execution & Craft
• Produce polished, brand-aligned assets with strong typography, color control, composition, and layout finesse
• Adapt global brand guidelines across regions while maintaining consistency and compliance
• Create illustrations, icons, visual systems, and style guides that support multichannel campaigns
• Maintain high standards of quality while managing tight timelines and multiple workstreams
Collaboration & Leadership
• Collaborate with art directors, ACDs, developers, and account teams across different geographies
• Provide guidance, feedback, and visual direction to junior/mid-level designers
• Work independently on projects with minimal supervision — from concept to final delivery
• Participate in reviews, ensuring all materials meet creative, brand, and regulatory standards
Qualifications for Sr Graphic Designer
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent working knowledge of software such as Adobe CC, Figma etc.
• Strong visual design capabilities: layout, typography, hierarchy, color theory
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Hands-on experience designing for omnichannel healthcare ecosystems (Veeva CRM, web, mobile, print, etc.)
• Ability to create visually engaging scientific diagrams, timelines, pathways, and mechanisms of action
• Positive, collaborative mindset with the ability to influence creative direction
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and version control
• Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and deliver consistently
• Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related discipline
• Strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating mastery in visual craft
• 6–10 years of experience in graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing work across omnichannel communication
• Prior experience in healthcare, pharma, life sciences, or regulated communication is highly preferred
Nice to Have
• Experience designing for AR/VR, 3D illustration, or advanced visualization
• Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM ecosystems
• Basic understanding of UI design principles
