Role: Analyst - Competitive intelligence
Job Description: The role involves supporting competitive intelligence and market research projects across multiple therapy areas and geographies for global pharmaceutical clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support in execution of market intelligence and competitive landscape projects, including secondary research, data analysis, and insight generation.
• Conduct secondary desk research using multiple data sources such as PubMed, clinicaltrials.gov, company reports, investor presentations, and syndicated databases (IQVIA, IPSOS, Evaluate Pharma, GlobalData, etc.).
• Assist in developing disease and pipeline landscapes, clinical trial tracking, and competitor benchmarking across different markets.
• Support epidemiology estimations and treatment landscape analysis under the guidance of senior team members.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail throughout the research process and deliverables.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and project leads to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery aligned with client expectations.
Domain Experience:
• Good understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry and familiarity with key therapy areas.
• Proven skills in secondary research and basic knowledge of primary market research methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with data sources such as IQVIA, Kantar, Evaluate Pharma, DRG, PubMed, and clinicaltrials.gov.
• Exposure to pipeline analysis, competitive landscape tracking, epidemiology modelling, and data synthesis preferred.
• Experience in Power BI, Tableau, or Excel-based dashboards would be an added advantage.
