Must Have

1.    Review and write content for various medical materials, including but not limited to brochures, slide decks, newsletters, infographics, etc according to client requirements with 100% quality and within agreed timelines 
2.    Should be able to take decisions on presentation of information, structure and flow of content, inclusion of relevant data, and enhance the visual appeal of the documents. Should be familiar with AMA style of writing with adequate knowledge on language, grammar, stylization, and referencing.
3.    Should be well versed with scientific databases such as Pubmed, Embase etc and know the process of literature search and retrieving relevant publications/data. 
4.    Lead projects end-to-end and ensure optimum project health by liaising with project manager and other relevant stakeholders (applicable for lead role)
5.    Should be able to lead client calls, understand client requirements and be able to discuss with clients on best-approaches for content presentation and flow, provide project status updates, answer any questions from the clients etc (applicable for lead role)
6.    Mentor, train, and lead a team of medical writers (applicable for lead role)
7.    Responsible to follow the best practices in the department regarding - processes, communication (internal & external), project management, documentation
8.    Participate in assigned training programs and work on assignments as per requirement.
9.    Participate in client calls as per project requirements.
10.    Compliance to quality, confidentiality and security; Adhere and follow quality systems, processes and policies; Comply to training and specifications

Desired Profile (Experience, Key Skills)
1.    Minimum 2 to 4 years of medical/scientific writing experience in pharmaceutical companies or medical communications agencies
2.    Understanding of any specialty area of medicine (preferred) or an overall understanding of the medical field.
3.    Strong flair and passion for writing.
4.    Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
5.    Passion for networking.
6.    Being up-to-date with the latest technical/scientific developments and relating them to various projects.
7.    Skilled with use of Microsoft tools
8.    M. Pharm/ Pharm. D/ BDS / MDS/Ph.D./ Any life science graduate with publication or medical writing experience
