Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our data team. The candidate will support the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with strong foundational skills in AWS, SQL, and Python, who is eager to grow into a well-rounded Data Engineer.

Title / Designation: Junior Data Engineer

The Job entails the following but not limited to:
•    Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
•    Work with AWS services (S3, EC2, RDS, Redshift) for data storage and processing.
•    Write Python scripts to automate data workflows and integrate different systems.
•    Manage and monitor data pipelines to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
•    Handle SFTP data transfers and integrations with external systems.
•    Support integration with CRMs such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Microsoft Dynamics, and Veeva.
•    Write optimized SQL queries for data transformation and reporting.
•    Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver accurate datasets.
•    Maintain clear documentation for data pipelines, workflows, and integration processes.

Job Specification:
•    Education/Background:
o    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering or related field.
o    1–3 years of experience in data engineering role.
o    Exposure to marketing/CRM data is a plus.


Who are we looking for?

We are looking for people who have/can:
•    Proficiency in AWS (S3, EC2, RDS, Redshift).
•    Strong hands-on experience with Python scripting for ETL/automation.
•    Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
•    Experience in building, monitoring, and troubleshooting data pipelines.
•    Manage SFTP data transfers and API-based integrations.
•    Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•    Eagerness to learn and grow into advanced data engineering roles.
•    Candidates with Pharma analytics experience will be preferred

Nice to Have:
•    Exposure to AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions.
•    Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
•    Knowledge of data governance and quality practices.
