Role Summary

The Director – Technology Delivery & Program Management will own end-to-end delivery governance for a portfolio of GenAI programs and platforms. This leader will manage a team of Program Managers responsible for multiple, concurrent GenAI client engagements while also ensuring the stable, secure, and scalable steady-state operation of GenAI platforms.

The role requires close collaboration with GenAI, Business, and Engineering teams to drive predictable outcomes, operational excellence, and a “no-surprises” delivery model with minimal escalations across all client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Delivery Leadership

Own delivery accountability for a portfolio of GenAI programs spanning pilots, scaled deployments, and enterprise rollouts.

Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Program Managers handling complex, multi-stakeholder GenAI initiatives.

Establish and enforce delivery standards, governance frameworks, and execution rhythms across all programs.

Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and cross-program conflicts to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Steady-State Platform & Operations Management

Oversee steady-state delivery and operational health of GenAI platforms, including availability, performance, reliability, and scalability.

Define and manage SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics for GenAI platforms and services.

Ensure smooth transition from build to run for GenAI solutions, with clear ownership and support models.

Support Desk & Incident Management

Set up and scale GenAI support desks (L2/L3), including processes, tooling, staffing, and escalation paths.

Ensure rapid incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement to reduce repeat issues.

Drive a strong “first-time-right” culture to minimize client escalations and operational disruptions.

Stakeholder & Client Management

Act as the senior delivery interface for internal stakeholders across GenAI, Business, Engineering, Security, and Infrastructure teams.

Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and ensure delivery transparency and confidence.

Anticipate and neutralize potential escalations before they reach senior leadership or clients.

Governance, Quality & Continuous Improvement

Establish strong governance for GenAI programs, including compliance, security, data privacy, and responsible AI considerations.

Drive continuous improvement in delivery velocity, quality, and cost efficiency across programs and platforms.

Leverage data and insights to identify systemic issues and implement corrective actions at scale.

Required Experience & Qualifications

15+ years of experience in technology delivery, program management, or large-scale enterprise implementations.

Proven experience leading multiple Program Managers across complex, concurrent programs.

Hands-on experience delivering and operating AI/GenAI platforms, data platforms, or cloud-native enterprise solutions.

Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, hybrid delivery models, and platform operations.

Demonstrated success in managing steady-state operations and support models for enterprise platforms.

Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with GenAI/LLMs, AI platforms, MLOps, or data-intensive systems.

Exposure to regulated or high-compliance environments (life sciences, BFSI, healthcare, etc.).

Experience setting up global or distributed delivery and support teams.
