Role Summary

The Graphic Design Lead at Indegene is a strong individual contributor responsible for driving high-quality creative execution, owning deliverables, and providing effective design solutions. The role requires a sharp focus on First Time Right (FTR), adherence to quality standards, and the ability to translate briefs into impactful visual outputs across multiple formats. The individual is expected to contribute to efficient delivery, proactive problem-solving, and continuous improvement in creative workflows.

Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery & Quality Excellence (Execution Focus)
Own end-to-end execution of creative deliverables across Digital, Print, UI, and basic Motion Graphics
Ensure high First Time Right (FTR) outcomes with minimal rework
Adhere to defined quality benchmarks, brand guidelines, and compliance requirements
Conduct thorough self-reviews before submission to maintain accuracy and consistency
Deliver tasks within agreed timelines, ensuring reliability and predictability
2. Creative Solutioning & Execution
Translate briefs into clear, effective, and visually engaging design solutions
Provide design recommendations and improvements aligned to client objectives
Handle moderate-complexity projects independently with minimal supervision
Apply strong fundamentals of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy
Ensure accessibility and usability considerations in all deliverables
3. Stakeholder Communication & Coordination
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (design leads, PMs, content teams) for clarity on requirements
Seek inputs proactively and clarify ambiguities to ensure smooth execution
Incorporate feedback effectively and iterate quickly to meet expectations
4. Efficiency & Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve personal productivity and delivery efficiency
Leverage templates, reusable assets, and basic automation where applicable
Maintain organized files, version control, and documentation for smoother workflows
5. Learning & Skill Development
Stay updated with design trends, tools, and platform best practices
Build working knowledge of Gen AI tools and apply them where relevant
Actively participate in training and apply learnings to improve output quality
Required Skills & Expertise
Technical & Creative Skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Working knowledge of UI tools (Figma or equivalent)
Experience in Digital, Print, and presentation design
Basic understanding of motion graphics is an advantage
Strong attention to detail in typography, layout, and visual consistency

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
6-8 years of relevant experience in graphic design or creative services
Experience working in structured delivery environments is preferred
