Role: Lead Business Analyst


Description: We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst with a strong track record in data management and analytics. This role goes beyond traditional business analysis, as it places a significant emphasis on business development and identifying new opportunities for our Data Management practice. The ideal candidate will have good analytical skills, hands-on experience in responding to RFPs, creating proposals, and driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategies.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities:  

Develop and execute strategies for expanding our Data Management practice. 
Proactively identify and explore new business opportunities related to data management and analytics. 
Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for business growth. 
Attend industry events and conferences to stay updated on emerging trends and potential opportunities. 
Lead the development of proposals, RFP responses, and presentations to potential clients. 
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and create compelling proposals. 
Ensure that proposals align with client needs and highlight our data management capabilities. 
Lead client meetings and presentations to discuss project scopes, objectives, and deliverables. 
Cultivate long-term client relationships by understanding their evolving data needs. 
Apply advanced data analytics techniques to support business development efforts. 
Develop data-driven insights and recommendations to showcase our capabilities. 
Create compelling data visualizations and reports to demonstrate our expertise. 
Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. 
Collaborate with team members to share insights and best practices. 

 

Requirements: 

Strong skills in creating technical documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD) and others, are essential for clear communication within the team and with clients.  
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a significant focus on data management, analytics, and business development. 
Proven track record in identifying and capturing new business opportunities. 
Experience in responding to RFPs, creating proposals, and presenting to potential clients. 
Proficiency in SQL queries and data manipulation. 
Understanding data governance, data quality, data modeling, and data cataloging principles is important for effective data management. 
Hands-on experience with atleast one data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Cognos, or Data Studio. 
Strong understanding of both relational and non-relational databases. 
Functional knowledge of cloud and on-premise databases, including Amazon Redshift and Postgre SQL. 
Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud can be beneficial.  
Proactive problem solver and critical thinker. 
Strong project management and organizational skills. 

 

Qualification & Experience 

Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field is required. 
A Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus and may be preferred for senior roles. 
More than 8 years of relevant experience
