Lead Data Scientist
You will be responsible for:
• Lead engagements pertaining to any of the Commercial Analytics areas like Segmentation, Targeting, Market Mix Modelling, Promotion Response, Digital Analytics, etc.
• Develop innovative analytical solutions to address specific business questions and optimize commercial strategies across various stages of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle • Present findings and recommendations to clients in a compelling and understandable manner, leveraging storytelling and data visualization techniques
• Collaborate closely with clients to identify opportunities for value creation through data-driven insights and recommendations
• Oversee the execution of analytical projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with client expectations, timelines, and quality standards
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts within the team and across departments to address complex client challenges effectively
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the value proposition offered to clients
About you:
Your impact:
• 8+ years' strong Consulting experience in Commercial Analytics, Marketing Mix & Pharma / Life Sciences domain • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related disciplines
• Experience of having delivered consulting projects to Pharma clients for the US market.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering impactful analytics solutions to drive business outcomes.
• Proven experience in tools such as MS Excel, R, SQL, Python; relevant exposure to Tableau, Power BI.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of analysts and consultants.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
• Proven ability to frame a business issue, design the right solution, and deliver results.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation, problem-solving, and driving continuous improvement in analytics methodologies and practices.
• Familiarity/expertise in pharmaceutical data sets, such as prescriber-plan data, patient-level data, transactional claims, EMR/EHR data, SPP Hub data, diagnostic data, etc., is a big plus.
