Role: Lead – Digital Transformation 


Description: We are seeking Lead/Senior Manager – Digital Transformation to lead the Customer Data Platform (CDP) practice which involves driving strategy, solution delivery, and stakeholder engagement across enterprise digital programs. This role involves partnering with business and technology teams to define CDP-driven transformation roadmaps, enable adoption of emerging technologies, and deliver measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong consulting expertise, cross-functional leadership, and deep knowledge of data-driven customer experience strategies in pharma, biotech, and healthcare ecosystems. 

Must Have

You will be responsible for: 

Business Leadership & Strategy 
Define and execute the business strategy for Indegene’s Customer Data Platform (CDP) practice in alignment with business objectives 
Develop strategic growth plans for CDP adoption across pharma marketing, patient engagement, and HCP (Healthcare Professional) experience programs 
Partner with sales, marketing, and consulting teams to articulate CDP value propositions and create go-to-market strategies for Life Sciences clients 
Identify new revenue streams and business models enabled by CDP capabilities (e.g., personalized patient journeys, omnichannel HCP engagement, advanced analytics for commercial operations) 
Drive business case development for CDP investments, including ROI analysis and cost-benefit assessments 
Establish governance frameworks for CDP implementation compliance with industry regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA etc.) 
Build and nurture CXO-level relationships to position CDP as a strategic enabler of customer-centric transformation 
Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions and maintain market leadership 
Collaborate with internal leadership to align CDP practice objectives with organizational growth priorities 

 

Consulting & Solutioning 

Translate high-level business objectives into digital use cases for Life Sciences clients such as patient engagement, HCP segmentation, and omnichannel orchestration 
Facilitate workshops to define strategy, assess maturity, and prioritize transformation initiatives 
Partner with technology teams on solution design, integrations (across CRM, CDP, MarTech, ERP, Data platforms), and delivery governance 
Provide guidance on data strategy, analytics, reporting, and measurement frameworks to ensure ROI on CDP initiatives 
Manage client expectations, serve as a point of escalation, and ensure seamless delivery 
Drive data onboarding, identity resolution, and audience segmentation strategies for patient and HCP data 
Identify opportunities for new data sources and process improvements 
Develop and foster client relationships, especially within client’s marketing operations and analytic departments 
Manage relationships with clients and partners and identify opportunities for new data sources 
Advising on, building, and maintaining complete documentation for all projects 
Managing data independently to realize trends and process improvements, keeping up to date with the latest technology trends and recommending areas for improvement

 

Practice & People Development 

Mentor cross-functional teams on CDP use cases, data strategy, and customer engagement strategies 
Contribute to thought leadership, POVs, and industry events 
Build partnerships with technology vendors to enhance solution offerings 

 

Desired Profile:

8-12 years of experience in consulting, digital transformation, or data-driven marketing. 
Strong knowledge of enterprise digital platforms (CRM, CDP, MarTech, ERP, Data & Analytics platforms). 
Proven ability to engage with senior client stakeholders and translate business needs into actionable digital solutions. 
Understanding of Life Sciences commercial models, omnichannel engagement, and regulatory compliance. 
Familiarity with emerging technologies (Gen AI, automation, cloud, data platforms). 
Track record of driving revenue growth, practice building, or business development. 
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 

Good to have

Experience with specific digital platforms (Salesforce, Adobe, Tealium, Segment, Treasure Data, etc.). 
Exposure to customer experience design, analytics, and omni-channel engagement. 
Certifications in digital platforms, analytics tools, or project management (Agile, PMP, etc.). 
Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks.
