Role: Lead Software Engineer


Job Description: You will be responsible for: 
    Own the end-to-end design, implementation, and maintenance of Customer Data Platforms (CDP) such as Salesforce Audience 360, Tealium AudienceStream, etc.
    Lead the analysis, architecture, and solution design for CDP-based use cases, ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity.
    Define, configure, and govern business rules, identity resolution, profile unification, and segmentation logic within the CDP.
    Architect and oversee upstream and downstream integrations between CDP and external systems (e.g., SFMC, AWS Pinpoint, Oracle Cloud, analytics platforms).
    Partner closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners to review, refine, and prioritize functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    Lead data gap analysis across source systems and recommend optimal implementation approaches and integration patterns.
    Drive and review Proof of Concepts (POCs) for CDP capabilities and integrations with marketing, analytics, and cloud platforms.
    Oversee testing strategies for data quality, event accuracy, identity stitching, and use-case success metrics.
    Act as a technical lead and mentor for junior engineers, conducting design reviews, code/configuration reviews, and knowledge sharing.
    Take ownership of delivery commitments, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and client expectations are met.
    Proactively manage stakeholder communication, providing technical guidance, risk assessments, and status updates.


Desired Profile:
•    Enable a unified, reliable customer data foundation that powers personalization, analytics, and omnichannel activation.
•    Improve time-to-market for new CDP use cases through strong architecture and delivery leadership.
•    Raise the overall technical maturity and best practices within the CDP implementation team.

Must have: (Requirements) 
    6+ years of overall experience, with 3+ years of hands-on experience leading implementations of Customer Data Platform (CDP) use cases.
    Strong hands-on experience with CDP platforms such as Tealium AudienceStream, Salesforce Data Cloud / Audience 360.
    Deep understanding of data modelling, identity resolution, profile unification, segmentation, and governance in CDPs.
    Proven experience configuring inbound and outbound connectors, including real-time and batch data flows.
    Experience leading small teams or acting as a technical lead on client-facing projects.
    Relevant certifications in Salesforce Audience 360 / Data Cloud or Tealium AudienceStream.

Good to have

•    Prior experience working in the Pharma or Life Sciences domain.
•    Hands-on experience with Tag Management systems such as Google Tag Manager, Tealium iQ, or Adobe Launch.
•    Experience integrating CDP with analytics and marketing platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, social media platforms like Sprinklr or Hootsuite).
•    Strong understanding of integration patterns and custom API development for CDP-source system integrations.
•    Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data analysis, validation, and automation.
•    Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
