Job Description: MDM Analyst
1.1 JOB SCOPE
• MDM analyst with knowledge of life sciences data model.
• Act as a strategic partner to local Operating Companies (OpCos), fostering collaboration and supporting MDM.
• Deep knowledge of data providers data model (e.g. OneKey)
• Deep knowledge of integrations and how a “gold” record is maintained
• Partner with Administration & Support Teams (CRM Admin, Data Stewardship, Event Management, Medical, Market Access) to deliver integrated excellence.
• Collaborate with EMEA and other operating countries to share best practices.

• Strategic role: Subject Matter Expert in MDM
1.2 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
MDM Data
• Data Quality Management, perform data profiling, identify quality issues, and drive remediation.
• Develop and maintain data standards, hierarchies, business rules, and validation processes.
• Monitor MDM system performance, manage workflows, and validate mastered records.
• The ability to trace data errors back to their source and implement systemic fixes.
• Supervising the lifecycle of master records, from initial entry to archiving, ensuring all stages are managed according to compliance.
• Establish and enforce naming conventions, formatting rules, and data entry standards.
• Regularly analyze datasets to identify "dirty" data, patterns of errors, or missing information.
• Perform deduplication (merging twin records) and enrich internal data with external sources.
Data providers
• Maintain existing data sources, ensuring proper mapping, enhancing when it is required.
• Onboard new data sources, ensuring proper mapping and integration into the MDM hub.
• Ability to identify patterns, errors, and opportunities for improvement in complex datasets.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data integration techniques, and metadata management.
Downstream systems
• A high degree of precision is required, as a single error in master data can cause chain reactions in downstream systems.
• Familiarity with ETL tools, (e.g. Informatica, Kafka, etc)
• Familiarity with downstream systems (CRM, ERP, etc)
• Act as a liaison between MDM and downstream product owners to define data ownership and accountability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with CRM Admin, Medical, Market Access, and Event Management leads to ensure seamless integration of MDM data.
• Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Translate OpCo platform requests into functional requirements, supporting change management and UAT processes.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
• Ensure system compliance with Healthcare Business Integrity, Legal, Privacy, GDPR, and FCPA.
• Monitor and support data quality, cleansing, and territory/product integrity.
• Engage with HCC, Legal, and Privacy teams to uphold corporate responsibility standards.

1.5 ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge / skills:
• Proven experience with MDM platforms, e.g. Reltio, Informatica MDM, etc.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with data quality tools.
• Mastery of MS Excel (macros, looksups, etc)
• Configure MDM software rules, workflows, and UI screens for data entry users
• Deep knowledge of “Root Cause Analysis”
• Meticulous Attention to Detail
• Understanding how a data field can impact a critical process
