Indegene is seeking a high-impact Marketing Specialist to drive AI Transformation initiatives that reposition Indegene as the AI-native partner of choice for global life sciences clients. In this role, you will own end-to-end campaign strategy and execution, develop differentiated thought leadership, and work in close collaboration with Indegene's global Marketing & PR teams to amplify the company's AI narrative across channels, events, and earned media.

Manager – AI Category
You will be responsible for the following, working in close collaboration with central marketing, PR, and Transform AI programme teams:
AI Narrative & Positioning
- Define and own Indegene's master AI narrative, positioning frameworks, and messaging hierarchy across all internal and external touchpoints
- Develop competitive positioning for Indegene's AI offerings, ensuring consistent and differentiated messaging that establishes Indegene as the AI-native partner of choice in life sciences
- Set the creative and messaging direction that central marketing's design and execution teams bring to life
- Brief central marketing with clear strategic direction for all Transform AI campaigns, PR, and channel activity
Thought Leadership & External Credibility
- Shape Indegene's AI thought leadership strategy — commissioning white papers, executive bylines, POVs, and research reports that build credibility and category authority
- Build and own the analyst and media engagement strategy, developing briefing packages that drive consistent coverage and shape market perception
- Scout and direct Indegene's presence at key industry events, conferences, and speaking platforms (HIMSS, Reuters Pharma, DPharm, Pharma Forum, and beyond)
- Cultivate academic and research partnerships that bring independent intellectual credibility to Indegene's AI story — collaborating with institutions, research bodies, and industry think tanks to co-create evidence-backed narratives
- Partner with central marketing to manage media, analyst, and PR relationships — owning the strategy while central marketing drives outreach and amplification
Transform AI — Internal Narrative & Enablement
- Build and drive the internal AI transformation narrative as part of Indegene's Transform AI programme — creating content, campaigns, and adoption programs that make AI real and actionable for every team
- Plan and execute internal AI roadshows that take the transformation story directly across the organization
- Build and manage executive personal brands — positioning Indegene's leaders as credible AI voices on LinkedIn and beyond
- Ensure Indegene's AI story is not just communicated externally but understood, believed, and lived internally
Client & Commercial Enablement
- Equip client-facing teams with AI messaging frameworks, narratives, and tools they need to lead confident, differentiated conversations with clients
- Help clients navigate, position, and communicate their own AI transformation journey
- Track and report share of voice, media sentiment, analyst coverage, and campaign ROI — delivering clear performance insights and optimization recommendations to senior leadership
Good to have
- MBA graduate with 6–10 years of overall experience
- Demonstrated experience in strategy, GTM, narrative development, or B2B commercialization — ideally in technology, life sciences, or consulting
- Strong ability to translate complex AI and technology capabilities into compelling, business-level narratives for C-suite and client audiences
- Proven track record in thought leadership content development — white papers, executive POVs, research-backed assets
- Experience engaging with analysts, media, and academic or research institutions
- Prior exposure to PR and media relations processes is a strong advantage
- Experience planning and managing industry events and trade show participation is preferred
- Comfort operating as a senior individual contributor who influences without direct authority
