Role: Master Data Management (MDM) Architect


Job Description: We are seeking an experienced MDM Architect to design, implement, and govern enterprise-wide Master Data Management solutions. The ideal candidate will define MDM architecture, establish data governance standards, and ensure high-quality, consistent master data across business domains such as Customer, Product, Supplier, and Finance.

Must Have

Key Responsibilities
•    Design and implement enterprise MDM architecture and data models. 
•    Lead MDM platform selection, integration, and deployment activities. 
•    Define data governance, data quality, and metadata management frameworks. 
•    Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify master data requirements. 
•    Develop strategies for data matching, survivorship, hierarchy management, and golden record creation. 
•    Integrate MDM solutions with ERP, CRM, Data Warehouse, and cloud platforms. 
•    Ensure data consistency, scalability, security, and compliance standards. 
•    Create architectural documentation, standards, and best practices. 
•    Provide technical leadership to development and data engineering teams. 
•    Support migration, cleansing, and consolidation of legacy master data. 
•    Monitor MDM system performance and optimize data workflows. 
•    Participate in solution design reviews and enterprise architecture discussions. 


Required Skills
•    Strong understanding of MDM concepts, data governance, and data quality. 
•    Experience with MDM tools such as: 
o    Informatica MDM 
o    Reltio 
•    Knowledge of: 
o    Data modeling 
o    ETL/ELT processes 
o    APIs and integration patterns 
o    SQL and database technologies 
o    Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) 
•    Experience with enterprise applications like SAP, Salesforce, Oracle ERP, etc. 
•    Understanding of data stewardship and compliance frameworks. 
•    Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 

Good to have

Preferred Qualifications
•    10+ years in Data Management/Data Architecture roles. 
•    3+ years specifically in MDM architecture. 
•    Certification in MDM tools or cloud technologies is a plus. 


Nice to Have
•    Experience with AI/ML-driven data quality solutions. 
•    Knowledge of Data Mesh or Data Fabric architectures. 
•    Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery models.
