Must Have
Role: Medical Information Specialist
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
• Drives active engagement via Consultation experiences between the content originator/s and MLR Review and Approval teams, including relevant SMEs for Omnichannel campaigns, digital, IT, patient, and or compliance discussions and Agency alignment as required
• Accountable for the continuous prioritization of content for MLR Review and Approval through effective partnership with the Omnichannel planning team / Brand team and MLR Review and Approval teams – cross brand as needed
• Accountable and responsible for the publication of a transparent single source of truth on agreed priorities and review schedules, adapting as required through an agile methodology that complements the evolving business needs
• Produces Veeva PromoMat reports for local demand forecasting and prioritization needs on a regular basis
• Working closely with the Content Originators across the Omnichannel and Brand teams to establish a local project planning, providing a robust forecast of content demand for MLR Review and Approval
• Provides asset submission guidance in line with approved marketing guidance
• Enforces asset metadata standards (product, asset grouping, key dates, etc) for MLR approval efficiency
• Aids MLR comment resolution support
• Builds strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholder teams, especially editorial team, and partners aligned to the needs of MLR review and approval, Global to Local and Omnichannel ways or working
• Help the MLR Planning Manager in launches, label updates, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with Pharmaceutical brand strategic and operational planning processes
• Competent Veeva PromoMat user
• Independent self-starter with demonstrated program management skillset
• Knowledge of the MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) Planning in regards to the development and approval of promotional content that enable the delivery of multi-channel and omnichannel campaigns
• Understanding of processes related to Omni/digital content development, content strategy and MLR Review & Approval processes – claims formation and substantiation needs
• Demonstrated strong oral and written communications
• Ability to work in a matrix team environment
• Experience using project management software to plan, monitor and communicate project progress
• Demonstrated success in:
o program management of strategic and/or business critical initiatives
o leading cross-functional teams/ability to lead without authority
o leading and managing change across large stakeholder teams including, in some instances, external outsourced resource partners
Preferred Background:
• Project Management, SAFe Agile (Sprint/MVP focused) planning experience and/or certification
• Understanding of scientific and/or commercial marketplace respective to biopharmaceutical therapeutic area(s)
