Must Have
Digital Asset Management (DAM) Librarian - English
You will be responsible for: The Digital Asset Management (DAM) Librarian will be responsible for managing the client’s digital asset libraries, ensuring the systematic organization, maintenance, and accessibility of digital assets. This role requires a meticulous and analytical approach to maintain client’s knowledge base, conduct rigorous and compliant medical knowledge searches, and ensure colleagues are equipped with the most comprehensive and up-to-date information.

About you:
1. Digital Asset Management:
o Oversee organization, storage, tagging, indexing, categorization, integrity, and secure retrieval of digital assets (e.g., core claims, images, references).
o Manage and maintain the reference library in the system of record, supervising uploads by country librarians/outsourced providers and performing uploads requiring specific client access (e.g., labels).
o Collaborate with the global content clearance team and affiliate librarian networks to maintain governance, provide training, and support process/system enhancements.
o Own and update library guidance on the system of record, pre-review guidance (e.g., Reference Style Guide, Trademark Guide), and taxonomy governance by analyzing taxonomy requests and supporting enhancements.
o DAMS Librarian will manage modular content-related activities in collaboration with stakeholders (e.g., creation, reuse, versioning).
o Oversee reference anchoring and linking to ensure traceability and compliance in digital content workflows.
o Own governance on system of record to ensure consistent processes and alignment across affiliates and global functions.
2. Knowledge Base Maintenance:
o Maintain the client’s knowledge base through a systematic and analytical approach, ensuring accuracy, comprehensiveness, and timely updates.
o Conduct medical literature retrieval using web-based databases and apply analytic approaches for literature searches.
o Utilize documentation and knowledge management systems, external/internal databases, advanced search technologies, and reference management software effectively.
3. Information Dissemination:
o Provide colleagues with relevant, accurate, and up-to-date information to support task execution and decision-making.
o Communicate complex scientific and technical concepts with clarity in written and spoken English (other languages an asset).
o Deliver system demonstrations and presentations in cross-functional and multicultural settings.
4. Quality Assurance:
o Ensure high-quality metadata/indexing of assets and substantiation materials to guarantee accuracy, fairness, balance, and compliance with regulations.
o Apply rigorous quality assurance standards to maintain consistency, reliability, and trustworthiness of communications across markets.
o Demonstrate strong understanding of the pharmaceutical regulatory environment; knowledge of the client’s therapeutic areas is an asset.

• Bachelor’s degree & 4 years of directly related experience
OR
• Associate’s degree & 6 years of directly related experience
OR
• High school diploma / GED & 8 years of directly related experience
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (other languages an asset)
• Use an analytic and systematic approach to conduct medical literature searches
• Maintain a rigorous and precise mindset for rapid delivery on projects and tasks
• Good understanding of the pharmaceutical regulatory environment
Nice to have:
• Experience in the retrieval of medical literature using web-based databases
• Knowledge of documentation and knowledge management systems, as well as use of external and internal databases and systems including advanced search technologies
• Experience using database/reference managing software
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to:
