Must Have

Indegene is looking for a Bangalore-based Project Associate – PMO with strong project management, governance, stakeholder coordination, and operational tracking experience to support Medical Affairs/PMR client engagements. The role will involve managing day-to-day project delivery, client and internal communications, governance decks and trackers, DHR/resource and revenue tracking, audit and compliance documentation, onboarding/offboarding coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple accounts.

Responsibilities:

•    Manage assigned client engagements end-to-end, including project planning, delivery tracking, governance coordination, stakeholder follow-ups, and timely closure of action items.
•    Lead recurring internal and client-facing project cadences by preparing agendas, coordinating inputs, documenting minutes, tracking decisions, and ensuring follow-through on commitments.
•    Maintain and update project trackers, DHR/resource allocation sheets, MySheets compliance inputs, revenue forecasts, and project-level dashboards to support delivery and business reviews.
•    Prepare and maintain governance decks, monthly/quarterly business review materials, CSAT trackers, performance summaries, and other reporting artifacts required for leadership and client discussions.
•    Coordinate with Engagement Leads, BU leadership, finance, operations, audit, legal/compliance, and delivery teams to ensure project requirements, risks, dependencies, and escalations are proactively managed.
•    Support client engagement activities including renewals, SoW/amendment inputs, project premium/growth opportunity tracking, invoice follow-ups, and data required for commercial or revenue-related discussions.
•    Drive audit and compliance readiness by maintaining Work Management Plans, BCP documents, onboarding/offboarding guidelines, access records, approval evidence, revision histories, and project repositories.
•    Manage onboarding and offboarding coordination for project resources, including access requests, DL additions, client confirmation, training alignment, project allocation updates, and asset/process handover tracking.
•    Identify project risks, process gaps, utilization concerns, and compliance issues, and work with stakeholders to define corrective actions, mitigation plans, and closure timelines.
•    Contribute to PMO capability-building and continuous improvement initiatives
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve project processes, standardize governance artifacts, support automation/AI adoption opportunities, and strengthen reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
•    Demonstrate proactive ownership, attention to detail, structured communication, and a solution-oriented approach while handling multiple projects, stakeholders, and competing priorities.

Requirements:

•    Bachelor’s or master’s degree; life sciences, pharmacy, healthcare management, or pharmaceutical management background preferred.
•    2–5 years of experience in project management, PMO coordination, client delivery support, medical review/MLR operations, or healthcare/pharma operations.
•    Experience managing project trackers, governance decks, resource/DHR tracking, revenue inputs, CSAT follow-ups, audit documentation, and client/internal review cadences.
•    Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, Engagement Leads, BU leadership, finance, audit/compliance, operations, and delivery teams.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear emails, meeting notes, action trackers, reports, presentations, and leadership-ready summaries.
•    Strong accountability, planning discipline, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision.
•    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SharePoint, Teams or other project management/reporting tools preferred.
•    Understanding of project governance, risk tracking, onboarding/offboarding coordination, audit readiness, documentation control, and compliance-oriented ways of working.
•    Exposure to Agile methodologies, automation/AI-enabled PMO practices, or continuous improvement initiatives will be an added advantage.
