Senior GEO Analyst - GTM
Role Overview
As a GEO Sr. Analyst, you will be responsible for driving analysis, audits, recommendations, and reporting to improve visibility across AI-driven search ecosystems (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Claude etc.). You will act as the execution backbone of GEO strategy.
At Indegene, you will work on GEO mandates for leading pharma, biotech, and medtech clients, helping brands become reliably cited and accurately represented across AI-driven health information ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities
1. Analysis & Audit
Creating a high-intent prompt library for the AI Listening
Analyze AI search outputs (Answers across LLMs, AI Overviews) for brand visibility and citation patterns
Identify gaps in visibility, retrievability, accuracy, and authority signals
Conduct GEO audits across owned, earned, and third-party content
Benchmark client AI visibility and citation share against key competitors across target LLMs.
2. Recommendations
Translate insights into actionable GEO strategies
Recommend optimizations for content structure, prompt alignment, entity optimization, schema (structured data) and AI citation eligibility
3. Reporting
Build and maintain GEO performance dashboards
Track: Share of Model (AI SoV), Citations opportunity, Prompt coverage
Present insights to internal stakeholders and GEO Leads
Core Skills & Requirements
3–5 years in SEO with at least 6 months to 1 year in GEO
Strong understanding of search intent & SERP behavior, AI search ecosystems
Familiarity with how LLMs retrieve, rank, and cite content (RAG pipelines, chunking, context windows)
Hands-on experience with schema markup (validation and recommendation), GEO tools such as Profound, Semrush (including Semrush AI Toolkit), and Writesonic
Ability to derive insights from ambiguous datasets
Strong communication & storytelling skills
Good To Have:
Agency Background - Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously, with exposure to cross-industry GEO challenges and the ability to adapt frameworks across therapeutic areas or product categories.
Life Sciences / Pharma / MedTech Industry Experience - Familiarity with regulated content environments, including MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) review processes and how they impact content velocity and GEO execution. Understanding of HCP vs. patient content journeys is a strong advantage.
Health & Medical Content Ecosystems - Awareness of how AI models handle YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) content, including how sources like PubMed, clinical guidelines, and medical associations are preferentially cited in health-related AI outputs.
Understanding of Pharma Digital Channels - Exposure to HCP portals, patient support platforms, or branded/unbranded pharma content strategy is a plus
Global Market Exposure - Experience with GEO or SEO across various markets is valuable for Indegene's global client base spanning US, EU, and APAC regions.
