Role: Software Engineer
Description: Tealium Implementation Engineer with strong expertise in advanced JavaScript and hands-on experience implementing and managing third-party marketing pixels. The ideal candidate will have an innovation-driven mindset, capable of building custom tools and solutions to proactively detect tag drops, data inconsistencies, and tracking issues. Experience working with databases and writing SQL queries to validate, analyze, and troubleshoot data is essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain Tealium iQ and/or Tealium EventStream/AudienceStream solutions across web and digital platforms
• Implement, configure, and troubleshoot third-party marketing pixels (e.g., ad platforms, floodlight, facebook, tradedesk and etc.)
• Develop and maintain advanced JavaScript solutions for tag management, data layer enhancement, and custom tracking logic
• Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable tracking solutions
• Perform data validation and analysis using SQL queries against databases or data warehouses to ensure data accuracy and completeness
• Optimize tag performance, page load impact, and data quality across platforms
• Maintain documentation for tracking implementations, data schemas, and operational processes
• Stay current with industry best practices in tag management, privacy, and consent management
Required Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with Tealium (iQ Tag Management, EventStream, AudienceStream)
• Extensive experience implementing and managing third-party pixels
• Advanced JavaScript expertise, including asynchronous scripting, DOM manipulation, and debugging
• Experience with consent management platforms (CMPs) and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Experience with Tealium server-side tagging and event-based architectures
• Experience in designing or building custom tools or frameworks for tag validation, monitoring, or automation
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL, including writing queries for data validation and analysis
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across browsers and platforms
• Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
