We are seeking a highly motivated Tealium Implementation Engineer with hands-on experience in tag management, digital analytics implementation, and customer data collection frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Tealium iQ and a solid understanding of client-side and server-side tracking implementations. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, validating, and optimizing digital tracking solutions across web and digital platforms.
Must Have
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain Tealium iQ Tag Management solutions across web properties and digital applications
• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot third-party marketing and analytics tags, including advertising, conversion, and audience measurement platforms
• Develop and maintain JavaScript-based custom tracking solutions, extensions, and data layer enhancements
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, analytics teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable tracking solutions
• Implement and validate data layer specifications and ensure adherence to tracking standards
• Support server-side tracking implementations using Tealium EventStream and AudienceStream where applicable
• Perform end-to-end QA, debugging, and validation of analytics and marketing technology implementations
• Monitor data quality, identify implementation issues, and recommend corrective actions
• Optimize tag deployment for performance, maintainability, and scalability
• Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and solution designs
• Support consent management implementations and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
• Stay current with emerging trends in digital analytics, tag management, customer data platforms, and privacy frameworks
## Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 3–6 years of experience in digital analytics implementation or tag management
• Strong hands-on experience with Tealium iQ Tag Management
• Experience implementing and managing third-party marketing and analytics tags
• Strong JavaScript skills with experience in DOM manipulation, event listeners, and debugging
• Experience working with browser developer tools and tag debugging tools
• Good understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, cookies, local storage, and browser behavior
• Knowledge of digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, or Matomo
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Good to have
• Experience with Tealium EventStream and AudienceStream
• Experience with server-side tagging and API integrations
• Knowledge of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs)
• Understanding of consent management platforms and privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and regional privacy requirements
• Experience with SQL for data validation and analysis
• Exposure to cloud platforms and data warehousing solutions
• Tealium certifications or relevant digital analytics certifications
