Job Description: Role Overview
As a GEO Sr. Analyst, you will be responsible for driving analysis, audits, recommendations, and reporting to improve visibility across AI-driven search ecosystems (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Claude etc.). You will act as the execution backbone of GEO strategy.
At Indegene, you will work on GEO mandates for leading pharma, biotech, and medtech clients, helping brands become reliably cited and accurately represented across AI-driven health information ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities
1. Leveraging AI Visibility tool & AI-Native Analysis
* Build and manage high-intent prompt libraries across brand, disease, treatment, competitor, HCP, and patient journeys.
* Use Profound/similar technologies beyond standard dashboards, including AIM, agent engineering, Skills, Documents, Agent Analytics, and Knowledge Base capabilities, to investigate patterns and answer strategic questions.
* Analyze AI outputs across ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and other platforms for visibility, citations, sources, narratives, and competitive presence.
* Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to explore hypotheses, interrogate data, test interpretations, and accelerate deeper analysis.

2. Insights & Pharma Brand Context
* Translate Profound/AI Visibility tool data into meaningful insights by connecting prompt, platform, citation, source, competitor, and narrative-level patterns.
* Go beyond reporting metrics to identify why a trend is happening, what is driving it, and why it matters for the brand.
* Build working knowledge of the assigned brand, therapeutic area, competitors, clinical evidence, and HCP/patient journeys to ensure insights are grounded in pharma context.
* Continuously investigate anomalies, emerging trends, evidence gaps, citation dependencies, narrative inconsistencies, and new opportunities within the data.

3. Recommendations, Reporting & Continuous Exploration

* Translate insights into clear, evidence-based GEO recommendations across content, citation authority, narrative strategy, retrievability, technical GEO, and AI readiness.
* Develop client-ready dashboards, analyses, and presentations that clearly connect data to insight to brand implication to recommended action.
* Present findings and strategic recommendations to GEO Leads, internal stakeholders, and client teams in a clear and compelling manner.
* Continuously explore new tools, functionality, AI tools, prompts, workflows, and analytical approaches, and convert successful approaches into reusable methodologies for the GEO team.

Core Skills & Requirements

•    3–5 years of experience in digital analytics, search, insights, digital strategy, consulting, SEO/GEO, or related disciplines.
•    Strong analytical ability to turn complex or ambiguous datasets into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
•    Hands-on experience with Profound or similar AI Search/GEO platforms, with the ability to explore beyond standard dashboards and reporting.
•    Strong proficiency with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar GenAI tools for research, analysis, hypothesis development, and insight generation.
•    Strong prompting and AI-native problem-solving skills, with the ability to continuously test, refine, and explore new analytical approaches.
•    Good understanding of AI search ecosystems, including retrieval, reranking, RAG, citations, source authority, entities, and AI retrievability.
•    Working knowledge of technical and content SEO, including crawlability, indexability, on-page optimization, internal linking, structured data, and site architecture; hands-on familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Semrush, and Google Search Console.
•    Ability to move from metric to observation to insight to brand implication to strategic recommendation.
•    Strong investigative mindset, with the ability to drill into individual prompts, AI responses, citations, sources, and competitors to understand what is driving performance.
•    Experience or familiarity with pharma, life sciences, or healthcare, including therapeutic areas, clinical evidence, HCP/patient journeys, and branded/unbranded ecosystems.
•    Understanding of healthcare authority and YMYL ecosystems, including scientific publications, guidelines, medical associations, government sources, and other trusted sources used by AI engines.
•    Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex AI-search findings into clear client-ready narratives.
•    Curious, self-directed, and adaptable, with a mindset of continuous exploration and learning as Profound, AI platforms, and GEO methodologies evolve.
