Job Description: 

The Data Cloud Analyst should own how customer data comes together to drive smarter decisions and AIpowered experiences.  

This role focuses on building a trusted, unified customer view by leading data ingestion, modeling, harmonization, and segmentation. Working closely with CRM, analytics, integration, and business teams, the role translates business needs into scalable data solutions that support Agentforce and advanced analytics.  

The Data Cloud Analyst would ensure data quality, governance, and performance, monitors platform usage and costs, and acts as a trusted advisor to IT leadership while partnering with Salesforce and system integrators to adopt new capabilities. 


Key Responsibilities 

Lead the implementation and configuration of Salesforce Data Cloud, including data ingestion, harmonization, and segmentation 
Design and manage data models and mappings to support a unified customer view 
Enable Agentforce and AI use cases by ensuring Data Cloud is properly structured, enriched, and efficient 
Partner with CRM, analytics, and integration teams to ingest data from internal and external sources (CRM, marketing platforms, third-party data providers, etc.) 
Define and manage calculated insights, data transformations, and segmentation logic within Data Cloud 
Collaborate with business stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Medical, Global) to translate use cases into data requirements 
Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance within Data Cloud 
Support testing, validation, and deployment of Data Cloud-enabled capabilities across markets 
Monitor Data Cloud performance, usage, costs, and consumption-based metrics 
Act as a subject matter expert for Data Cloud, advising IT leadership on roadmap implications, dependencies, and best practices 
Work closely with Salesforce and System Integrators to adopt new Data Cloud and AI features as they become available 
Data evaluation focused on quality and ability to support aligned organizational goals  

 

Qualifications 

4+ years of experience in data, analytics, or CRM-related roles (e.g., Data Analyst, CRM Analyst) 
Have been part of at least one Salesforce Data Cloud implementation 
Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM and data-related components 
Strong understanding of data integration concepts, including APIs, batch ingestion, real-time data flows, and data transformation 
Experience working with customer data platforms, data lakes, or similar customer data orchestration solutions 
Proven ability to translate business use cases into data and analytics solutions 
Strong analytical skills with experience in data modeling and data quality management 
Experience working in regulated industries (pharma, life sciences preferred) 
Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders 
Salesforce certifications strongly preferred (Salesforce Certified AI Associate, Salesforce Certified AI Specialist, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer, Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant) 
Experience supporting AI, predictive analytics, or next best action use cases
