Role Summary
The Senior Workfront Implementation Engineer / Developer is responsible for the hands-on configuration and build of the Adobe Workfront solution against the signed-off design. The role configures templates, workflows, custom forms, and PRC approval steps; builds Workfront Fusion automation scenarios within the Workfront ecosystem; configures delivery metrics and role-based dashboards; and supports testing, UAT defect resolution, access provisioning, and go-live. The Engineer converts the Architect’s design into a working, tested, and adopted platform.

Key Responsibilities
• Configure standard project plan templates for each in-scope asset type, following the shared base-template architecture and optional task-group approach.
• Build project intake workflows and request queues, custom forms (dynamic, with sections and display logic), routing logic, approval gates, business rules, statuses, and milestones.
• Configure PRC workflow steps and notification/escalation triggers.
• Develop Workfront Fusion automation scenarios within the Workfront ecosystem – automated notifications/reminders, escalation for delayed tasks, status transitions/routing, and data capture to feed KPI dashboards.
• Configure delivery metrics, data fields, statuses, and milestones, and build role-based dashboards and reports using native Workfront reporting.
• Configure user roles, permission levels, teams, and groups; build the access matrix and onboard in-scope users with the Digital Engineering team.
• Perform internal testing of templates, workflows, forms, automations, notifications, and dashboards against the signed-off design; prepare UAT scenarios/scripts.
• Triage and resolve defects attributable to configuration within the defect resolution cycle and support UAT sign-off.
• Maintain the configuration decision log and support go-live readiness, cutover, and hypercare within scope.
• Contribute to training documentation, quick reference guides, and recorded walkthroughs as build subject-matter expert.

Mandatory Skills & Experience
• 3+ years hands-on Adobe Workfront configuration/development, delivering production implementations.
• Practical expertise configuring project templates, request queues, custom forms, approval workflows, routing logic, statuses, milestones, and notifications.
• Hands-on Workfront Fusion scenario build – triggers, actions, data mapping, filters, and error handling within the Workfront ecosystem.
• Ability to build native Workfront reports and dashboards (text-mode/calculated fields, filters, views, groupings, prompts).
• Experience configuring access levels, layout templates, teams, groups, and permissions.
• Disciplined testing, defect triage, and configuration documentation practices.
• Ability to work to a signed-off solution design and manage changes through a decision log / change control.
Good to have
• Adobe Workfront certification (Core Developer / Administrator).
• Experience with text-mode reporting and advanced Workfront calculated expressions.
• Life sciences / pharma exposure, particularly PRC/MLR approval processes.
• Familiarity with digital production of websites, Veeva RTEs, Salesforce emails, banner ads, and social assets.
• Awareness of future Fusion integrations to external systems (Veeva, AEM, Creative Cloud, DAM, ERP) and API-based connectors.
• Experience supporting UAT cycles, go-live cutover, and user onboarding at scale.
• Basic scripting / JSON familiarity for Fusion data transformations.
