Job Description:

Core activities to be performed as follows: (What will you do?)
•    Understand business initiatives including technical and non-technical requirements
•    Design and implement scalable ETL solutions
•    Translate complex concepts in ways that can be understood by non-technical audiences
•    Design highly automated data management and reporting processes to create scalable business solutions
•    Create database architecture and design that enables highly efficient downstream reporting and self-service analytics
•    Leverage domain expertise to build highly relevant, complex, flexible, intuitive and user-friendly technology solutions
•    Understand downstream analytics needs and requirements while creating the ETL / database processes
•    Design input and output validation reports and mechanisms that can be used to easily track and identify data issues and trends
•    Leverage cloud-based technologies appropriately when developing the ETL/database solutions
•    Create technical specification, Code/Application documentation and process
•    Engage with the team members to build solutions that meet business initiatives
•    Conduct code review to ensure delivery of high quality standards

 

Desired Skills: (What you have?)
Graduate in Engineering/Post Graduate in Engg/Science with 7+ years of IT/Tech experience; 3+ years of hands-on in developing ETL data flows using Databricks/Dataiku/Python/Talend/AWS Glue/Azure Data Factory. Experience with other tools like Informatica/data stage etc can also be considered.
•    Can translate requirements from the business and convert them into technical code.
•    Should be able to understand data and relationships.
•    Should have data analysis skills to debug, trace and fix problems.
•    Good experience in writing SQL queries & python coding.
•    Experience in working on any of the database like SQL Server/MYSQL/Oracle etc.
•    Experience in working with any of the cloud platforms like Azure or AWS will be a plus.
•    Experience in working with BI tools like Power-Bi/Tableau etc. would be an add on
•    Understanding on any of the CRM application will be a plus.
•    Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
•    Ready to learn new tools and technologies.
•    Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
•    A self-starter & quick learner with high energy-can do attitude.
•    Strong focus on results and quality.
•    Excellent Communication skills (written & verbal) are mandatory.
