Role: Lead - Data Science
Job Description: We are looking for an experienced analytics professional with 5+ years of experience, who can handle the breadth of Patient Analytics and other Commercial Analytics projects, with analysis, design and tracking of activities and performance:
We are looking for experienced analytics professional, who can handle commercial analytics projects in Patient analytics with proficiency. Additionally, skillset on Sales Force analytics or Payer analytics or Patient Support or Forecasting or Brand Performance analytics will be needed
Lead client communication, providing clients with periodic updates and insights / recommendations through appropriate channels (conference calls / emails)
Proactively communicate, internally and externally with senior stakeholders within the team, ensuring that any issues / concerns are handled in a timely manner
Provide technical and business leadership/ mentorship to junior team members; groom them for additional responsibilities
Candidate should be able to leverage various technology platforms (R/Python), SQL, Databricks, SQL and statistical / data science packages expertise and various datasets experts like SHS or IQVIA APLD claims, Hub, Specialty pharmacy, internal promotional datasets, CMS datasets etc.
to deliver a variety of analytics projects
Deliver various types of analytics projects, ranging from data wrangling, AI/ML, reporting, tool building / automation to ad-hoc analytics to delivering complex business operations projects on an ongoing basis, depending on the needs of the client
Types of advanced analytics problems may include:
o Patient adherence involving persistence, compliance, MPR etc.
o SOB and Market share analysis, Patient discontinuation and switch analysis
o HCP Segmentation & Targeting – basic and advanced methodologies
o Sales Force Analytics/SFE (Excluding Incentive Compensation)
o Sales Force sizing, Lead generators analysis, triggers for sales rep promotion etc.
o Scenario building and recommendations
o Leveraging AI/ML algorithms for the above or for ad-hoc requests as applicable
Create realistic and actionable metrics for marketing, brand and digital ops managers, including collation and delivery of brand, sales and marketing activity KPI reports
Collaborate with other members within the team to innovate through automation / new ideas / capabilities / tools
Desired Profile:
• BE /B.Tech/M.Tech, MBA (Optional) with 5+ years of experience
• Proficiency in pharma commercial analytics projects primarily leveraging APLD claims data and through Databricks, SQL, R/Python, Excel
• Knowledge of statistics and ability to run AI/ML models like regression, ensemble models, clustering etc. in R/Python
• Identify the opportunity and have the ability to scale and automate the ad-hoc analysis
• Experience in pharmaceutical commercial analytics is a must and is open to learning
• Strong presentation and communication skills
