Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and business-savvy Pharmacovigilance (PV) Reporting & Analytics Consultant to support client engagements within the PV Analytics Teams. In this role, you will be deployed on strategic client projects to deliver data-driven insights, build impactful reporting solutions, and support decision-making across global pharmacovigilance operations.
This is a client-facing consulting role, ideal for professionals who combine strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex data in a simple, business-relevant way.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Delivery & Analytics Execution:
- Providing transformations to enhance persistent layer by including additional data elements from pharmacovigilance and clinical applications.
- Developing, enhancing, and maintaining the semantic layers to retrieve pharmacovigilance, REMS data
- Creating templates to support regulatory obligations.
- Overseeing the maintenance of the reporting layer
- Implementing data quality checks and governance for data ingestion and preparation
- Managing data integration and validation efforts for consuming applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, data analytics, or a related field
- Experience working on client engagements (pharma/biotech industry preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Tableau or Power BI (dashboarding)
- Spotifire
- SQL (data querying and extraction)
- Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization
- Understanding pharmacovigilance, clinical, REMS and regulatory context is a nice to have
- Knowledge of validation processes and related documentation
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Strong problem-solving orientation and ability to work independently in a consulting setup
