PV Reporting Consultant (Client-Facing Role)

Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and business-savvy Pharmacovigilance (PV) Reporting & Analytics Consultant to support client engagements within the PV Analytics Teams. In this role, you will be deployed on strategic client projects to deliver data-driven insights, build impactful reporting solutions, and support decision-making across global pharmacovigilance operations.
This is a client-facing consulting role, ideal for professionals who combine strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex data in a simple, business-relevant way.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Delivery & Analytics Execution:
- Serve as the reporting and analytics lead on assigned client projects within Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety functions.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SAP Business Objects, and Excel.
- Translate operational and scientific data into actionable business insights for client stakeholders.
- Lead or support the design and automation of reporting workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Operational Support & Strategic Value:
- Maintain and manage reporting databases and visual analytics environments in alignment with client needs.
- Ensure data quality, validation compliance, and traceability throughout the data lifecycle.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports and presentations for client management teams.
- Collaborate with client teams to analyze stakeholder feedback, identify process gaps, and propose data-backed solutions.
Engagement Management:
- Act as a trusted advisor to client teams by bringing a strategic view of how data can inform business and operational decisions.
- Manage timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
- Support client innovation and transformation initiatives through analytics, reporting, and performance measurement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, data analytics, or a related field
- Experience working on client engagements (pharma/biotech industry)
- Advanced proficiency in:
- SAP Business Objects (reporting)
- Tableau or Power BI (dashboarding)
- SQL (data querying and extraction)
- Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization
- Understanding of pharmacovigilance operations and regulatory context is a plus
- Knowledge of validation processes and related documentation
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Strong problem-solving orientation and ability to work independently in a consulting setup
