You will be responsible for: 
Financial Governance:
•    Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting across a portfolio of accounts.
•    Review agency SOW for financial correctness and ensure accuracy of information against approved project scope. 
•    Manage, and monitor agency spend and drive consistent inputs across agency as per the established process.
•    Collaborate with agency and marketing strategist to collect the monthly goods receipts.
•    Lead monthly finance status report meetings with the marketing strategist, finance team, and agency as per established governance model.
•    Manage details of good receipts in appropriate approved platforms and perform re-conciliation as needed.
•    Manage and oversee revenue reporting and recognition for campaigns across assigned brands. 
Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration
•    Serve as the primary liaison between Client Stakeholders, effectively fostering clear communication and productive collaboration in all aspects of demand management operations
•    Cultivate and maintain relationships with key departments such as marketing strategy, Medical, customer experience planning, data and analytics teams. 
•    Preparing documentation, reports, and presentations that clearly and concisely explain forecast trends, discrepancies between forecasted and actual demand, potential opportunities for optimization (agency spend, tactic fees etc.), and other key findings from the demand planning process to Client Stakeholders
•    Providing prompt and effective solutions to any escalated issues to ensure seamless operational continuity.

Location: US – Hybrid (2-3 days of travel to client office in East Hannover, NJ)


Overview of the team:
The ideal candidate will be placed in our client’s location in East Hannover, NJ. As part of this ambitious initiative, our client organization is crafting a robust structure within the marketing operations division. This includes:
•    Marketing Operations & Delivery Enablement: Aiming to foster delivery excellence and achieve unmatched efficiency and effectiveness at an enterprise level.
•    Demand Management and Prioritization: Consolidating all channel tactics to conduct comprehensive assessment of all marketing activities, spending, and opportunities for optimization.
•    Marketing Processes, Policies, and Operations Excellence: Streamlining the Medical Legal Review (MLR) process for educational, promotional, and medical content.
The key objective of this role involves streamlining delivery operations, oversight and governance on various brand campaign operations. 
This includes:
•    Build collaborative relationships with marketing strategists, customer experience planners, and COEs in integrated marketing for effective marketing operation support.
•    Design and enable efficient scope and PO management processes in collaboration with finance and procurement teams.
•    Own and validate scope management activities, reconciling budgets and agency details.
•    Lead monthly and quarterly reconciliation processes with agency, marketing strategist, procurement, and finance teams.
•    Provide insights to optimize Marketing Operations support, enhancing agility and flexibility.
•    Facilitate business process assessments within the Marketing Operations group, making recommendations for effective implementation.
•    Cross-functional Team Collaboration: Collaborating with key cross-functional teams to drive efficiency at an enterprise level.

 

Desired Profile (Experience, Key Skills)
•    Around 6-8 years of experience as a Finance Analyst/Finance manager/FP&A/Accounts Payable. 
•    Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
•    Experience working in Advertising/Public Relations/Pharma Marketing firm preferred.
•    Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
•    Ability to reconcile data with precision and financial understanding.
•    SAP, HFM, and Client Finance experience in a corporate setting is a plus.
•    Comprehension and working experience with general accounting concepts (e.g., debits/credits, expense recognition, balance sheet, etc.), Budgeting, and Variance Analysis.
•    Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other basic desktop applications.
•    Experience of working both independently and in a team, collaborative environment is essential.
•    Strong oral and written communication skills.
