Designation – Senior Director – Strategic Solutions
Job Description –
Indegene is looking for a front-line manager in driving business growth as well as managing customer engagement efforts. You will assist in the development of sales strategy by providing insight into opportunities across geographies, business units and offerings. You will lead and manage the sales cycles for our full suite of offerings and curate Indegene’s services and solutions to executives across the clients’ value chain.
Core responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales teams, consulting teams, cross-functional business units, R&D organization and enterprise business solutions based in various locations in US and EU. Manage the deal pursuit process from qualification to closure.
- This role and function will evolve into a key strategic pillar of their GTM efforts and lead to more leadership opportunities within the organization.
- The goal of this function will be to help position Indegene as a strategic partner to clients and to win more large, transformational deals.
- The role will need to meet with the clients, architect solutions and provide expertise in constructing deals that help client succeed.
- The Large Deal Role will need to work along with the Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS) team, subject matter experts to craft and pitch large enterprise digital transformation deals for different clients.
- The EBS will provide support in terms of data, making ppts, capability effort estimates, etc and bring in various SMEs from the business.
Job Duties:

- Own end-to-end large deal management including solutioning, pitching/defending proposals, deal structuring, negotiation, contracting and engagement activation
- Support sales and account teams to deliver a continuous flow of business-building ideas and POVs on future transformation
- Manage participation, collaboration and proposal/bid development for RFP's and RFQ's for large and strategic GTM pursuits
- Lead the defense of proposals in front of clients in collaboration with the company's sales, delivery, SMEs, technology teams
- Deliver consulting projects that help set the stage for selling a large engagement / large deal. Play the ‘Partner
- Drive awareness of Indegene’ s multi-dimensional capabilities to unbox Indegene within client organizations through workshops, and thought leadership initiatives
- Socialize each large deal construct with prioritized set of clients
Must Haves:
-
- 12+ years of relevant experience in Lifesciences Consulting, Sales or Account Management
- Consulting background, intellectual horsepower, hunger and ability to defend the deal in front of the client; Strong consulting toolkit – e.g., gap assessment, due diligence, road-mapping
- Proven ability to sell both individually and in collaboration with a larger sales organization
- Strong core "consultative selling" skills including problem solving, data analysis, process design and relationship management
- Strong financial acumen and experience of creating commercial models and business cases
- Experience in working collaboratively with multi-functional, multi-cultural, multi-geographic, multi-service line teams
- Strong ability to build and manage/grow customer relationships as well as navigate complex buying and decision-making environments
- Ability to negotiate with clients and build successful partnerships for financial management, revenue forecasting and profitability management
- Strong understanding of healthcare-technology-commercial trends and usage in company business areas

- Master’s degree in sciences or management (MBA) preferred
