Role: Senior Engagement Manager

Indegene is looking for a front-line client leader in driving business growth as well as managing customer engagement efforts for a key account in the US. You will lead the overall engagement and be the face of Indegene for the client. Acting as the primary contact, the Engagement Lead advocates for clients and internal teams, managing end-to-end content, web, and digital deliverables. This role requires a strong strategic mindset, the ability to build genuine client relationships, intellectual curiosity, and the capability to act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor in a dynamic, ever-changing environment. You will assist in the development of sales strategy by providing insight into opportunities across geographies, business units and offerings. You will help manage sales cycles for our full suite of offerings and curate Indegene’s services and solutions to executives across the clients’ value chain.
As the Engagement Lead, you will be responsible for growing the current business and ensuring client satisfaction. You will be the bridge between the client and Indegene project teams and ensure that communication is clear and constant. 
You will be responsible for:
Revenue Goals
•    Achieve revenue targets by expanding client footprint and add-on business
•    Identify opportunities in client organization that could benefit from our solutions
•    Monitor scope of project and generate additional revenue for revised scope

Client Satisfaction
•    Build and maintain meaningful client relationships, striving to be their trusted advisor.
•    Foster strong internal relationships by maintaining high standards and encouraging curiosity and proactivity.
•    Lead project strategy, ensuring deliverables align with client strategy and organizational goals.
•    Collaborate with the Engagement Manager, Operations Lead, Account Managers, and executives to ensure project alignment and high-quality standards.
•    Anticipate client needs by understanding, diagnosing, and solving their problems, ensuring work aligns with client purpose and brand identity.
•    Provide relevant insights and solutions to clients and internal teams confidently.
•    Oversee client projects, ensuring flawless execution of details while maintaining the big picture.
•    Integrate seamlessly into the client's business structure and "speak their language."
•    Identify and pursue opportunities with existing clients and in the marketplace.
•    Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.

Account Governance
•    Monitor Account-level KPIs and metrics
•    Lead quarterly and monthly governance meetings
•    Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to Account Managers and project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
•    Present comprehensive reports, documentation, and presentations on project status, milestones, and KPIs for stakeholders.
•    Manage stakeholder expectations, bring industry best practices, and guide decision-making to meet timelines and avoid scope creep.
•    Proactively identify risks, develop resolution plans, and communicate timely.
•    Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery processes and increase efficiency.



Good to have

The Engagement Lead is a key role as the face of Indegene for clients and potential clients reporting to the Delivery Partner driving business growth and revenue targets. For this role, we are looking for someone with:
•    15+ years of demonstrated Account Management capability at established Agency/ Consulting firm in the Life Sciences
•    Pharmaceutical experience in commercial functions, supporting or working with brands and marketing teams.
•    Strong ability to build and manage customer relationships, as well as navigate complex buying and decision-making environments
•    Proven ability to sell both individually and in collaboration with a larger sales organization
•    Strong core “consultative selling” skills including problem solving, data analysis, process design, and relationship management
•    Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams
•    Ability to adapt to onshore and offshore models and work with client and agency teams.
•    Ability to translate between technical and non-technical requests and teams.
•    Proven record of growing businesses with clients
•    Ability to negotiate with clients and build successful partnerships
•    Ability to oversee multiple projects and multiple requirements
•    Excellent communication—verbal and written—skills
